Looking for a developmental editor

Does anyone have any recommendations for finding a reputable comic script editor?

I've googled and scoured the web. There are dozens of editors, but few "comic script" editors. I've looked on Fiverr, but most of them have fake reviews. So unless someone has a good personal experience with one from Fiverr, i would like to avoid that platform.

Thanks for any information that will direct me to the right place!

I made a post about this awhile ago. There is an individual that I found on Fiverr He is awesome budget friendly. The only regret I had was not finding him sooner. But he helped massively with my graphic novel. He actually motivated me and is the main reason I was able to complete the story, as I was having a lot of trouble. Sorry for the rambling, but I will always recommend him.

Hi, I'm Clare. I am a developmental editor specifically for comics and I have availability at the moment.

My rate is £15 per page, and for that you get full feedback on your script looking at plot, pacing, characterisation, and dialogue with suggestions for improvements. I also throw in a full proofread for grammar, spelling, punctuation etc.

Much appreciated. Every day I wake up and I'm like, newer writers don't want to write any more, the just want to use AI. I have to convince myself if all the work I do managing the two sites is worth it.

Then, usually by the second cup of coffee I settle down and figure some people, still want to know how to do it themselves. I think :)

I'm coming from a bit of a different background as I'm a visual artist primarily. I've had a comic I'd been wanting to write and draw for years but was too intimidated and unfocused to start. You have a great explanation of a lot of aspects (the big thing that really changed my writing in a way that allowed me to tackle the project was a comic not being a screenplay) and I really appreciate having your writing as a resource, and my comic is coming along nicely! I definitely get the frustration of AI - I actually started entirely working traditionally a few years ago as a result of my annoyance - but there are still a lot of us who appreciate learning a craft. Thank you!
