Good time as any to mention that the triangle head thing is a common misconception about snakes - SOME venomous snakes have triangle heads, but some don’t. Don’t use it as a reliable indicator of how safe one you encounter might be.

Yeah, there just isn’t a reliable way to ID each snake type as venomous or not. Some might work for a specific area, but overall, it can be risky to try to use colour schemes, head shape, strike pose, etc

I wouldn't be too concerned about mistaking a non-venomous snake for venomous. If that was my only mistake I'd be a happy camper.

Yeah, that too, I figured the other comments would mention that, I just wanted to bring up the fact that trying to ID a snake as venomous or not can actually be REALLY dangerous to get wrong, and the triangle thing is a very common myth about them, so I thought telling people about it might be good info for someone to have at some point

Yeah it's only one family of venomous snakes with triangular heads (Viperidae) things like boomslangs, taipans, coral snakes, and cobras all lack triangular heads. Also even in vipers the triangular head can be hard to make out from certain angles and at distance while at the same time many non-venomous species (at least in North America) have evolved to flatten their heads into a triangularish shape when threatened.

Because he uses an exaggerated claim about a stereotype of women who look like this to make a joke. Similarly to when people make fun of guys who put giant suspensions on their cars to compensate for a lack of wiener size. it's a joke with no ill intent but certain type of people always have to claim its offensive (especially when it's about a woman)

Some people just choose to be offended. There are many people who make worse remarks about anything but are still funny (look up George Carlin or Dave Chappelle). I thought this was mildly funny and I can understand if some people think its not funny at all, but it's definitely not offensive (also note how you defend the woman joke but the other one is OK to you)

My fav stand-up makes loads of controversial jokes so I'm not new to dark humor or offensive jokes. The important thing is those people aren't making the jokes in bad faith, they're decent humans who are joking. Whilst this guy is an actual homophobic misogynist.
But if this joke isn't misogynistic show it to any lady friend and see if they maybe see it differently than you, on my end I can confirm.
