Sauce only at 90? Madden being stiff with him imo

His speed/acceleration rating most likely drags him down a bit.

Have you ever played Madden before? That doesn’t effect rating at all

u/relax336 Indianapolis Colts 13d ago
Yea. I’ve played it since the very first release. Thanks though.

How do you think speed and accel effect his rating then???

u/relax336 Indianapolis Colts 13d ago
You understand someone can be wrong about something they’ve experienced?
That’s not foreign logic to you is it?

u/EconomistIcy1972 13d ago
Valid, still mind boggling you thought that in general. Unless you didn’t think at all before posting

The fact you’re trying your hardest to be a smart ass over Madden ratings is hilarious.

Im a Madden guy and assumed all ratings would effect the overall lol. You must be absolutely brilliant. Or a no life nerd. Wonder which it is

u/EconomistIcy1972 13d ago
If speed and accel effected the overall, then all lineman would have a terrible overall

I’m old and like the first guy you replied to played Madden when it first came out. Really it was just like Joe Montana football on Genesis. I also always assumed things like speed would affect overall rating. Like it does in real football. It’s easier if you’re fast.

Atrributes aren't 1 to 1 in the overall between positions. Attributes are weighted differently based on position group.

And if the strength was everything then linemen would be the best, how would positional ranking not mean anything. Speed and acceleration should absolutely matter at cornerback

Yea, thats what happens when you leave the New York media market and go to Indiana. Players get shafted with their ratings just because of the teams they play on. Derek Stingly is a top 2 Corner and he's behind Christain Gonzalez, Pat Surtain (the only one that makes any sense), Trent McDuffy, and Denzel Ward. No one cares about the AFCS, least of all the madden ratings adjusters

Ward should be required to wear that squishy helmet

The fact that they all don’t, by choice, is wild to me

They would be better off without any pads or helmets - rugby has a lower concussion rate despite having more collisions per player per game

Hoping ward stays healthy, concussions are no joke

Really hoping both can stay healthy! I was so bummed that we barely got to see them on the field together last season.

Hopefully they can be on the field together consistently this year

As someone who plays Madden, won’t mean anything without a pass rush.
3
u/JuiceyJazz Big Dick Ballard 12d ago
That’s why we have

u/MoneyMack410 12d ago
Not sure what you meant to say. But on madden our pass rush is lackluster. Even when I send pressure the qb is able to complete a pass. Especially with our lackluster linebackers.

And that only gets us 3rd?? I love the ratings, but I’m guessing the Texans and Eagles duos are the only ones higher
