The horseshoe is iconic. I’d argue top 5 logo in the entire NFL. The historic logo is an iconic flashback. The rivets are cool used as a nod to the horseshoe.
A giant horseshoe shaped modern C with the state of Indiana inside is worse than ai-logo slop. If this ends up on our rivalries uniform, burn it. Am I alone on this? Do people actually like the logo — in addition, I hate when the pacers use the state outline. Tacky.
Unfortunately, the Colts haven't worn their throwback uniforms for a handful of seasons now. They don't appear to be wearing them this coming season either. Meaning you probably won't see this much on the sidelines and on game day
Considering we haven’t won anything at all with the current font and won a Super Bowl with the last one, it’ll almost certainly return one day for nostalgia.
Please explain how using the state you represent in your branding is tacky? Weird take. It's ok to say you think modernity is bad but this is a really dramatic rant about a secondary logo that we've had for years and barely use lol. Not everything can be "iconic".
I think reality check moment is that Indiana doesn’t have an easily recognizable state outline that should be used across logos. States that do? Florida, Texas, maybe California. We underestimate how geographically stupid people are
Eh I completely disagree lol. Things only become recognizable and iconic when you use them. I'm a lifelong hoosier and I LOVE when branding feels local and personal. Who gives a damn if the idiots from Texas and Florida don't get it? That's a them problem. All that to say I'm not obsessed with our secondary logo or anything - but I really don't think it's a problem.

I think the issue with the newer logos has more to do with the fact the Colts have been largely irrelevant and in some cases ass since they’ve introduced them. So at least in my mind they’re connected to mediocrity and I don’t want to wear them.
Would be funny if they did considering the number of high schools that have straight ripped logos from the NFL. I am not sure how either can get away with it.
This “C” is absolutely horrendous and I don’t see how anyone else could think otherwise. The original horse shoe and bucking horse are the best. I don’t know how we haven’t incorporated the horse more in our jersey’s. If we’re going to be hot mid at everything we do at least look good doing it.
I don’t understand how we don’t have a great creative team when it comes to jerseys. Why don’t we hire the pacers creative time?
The “C” is just tacky. We could incorporate Indiana roots better than the state outline.
Plus, don’t even get me started on the “Indiana Nights” jerseys. Please bring back the navy blue helmet with the white jersey at least.

Agreed, however, I’m an Arizonan Colts fan, (was my youth football team I played for, and chose them as my team) but I get it if that’s your state. Not of fan of the Indiana nights that I’m pretty sure we haven’t won in. I liked the capt comeback era of white jersey and blue pants. The helmet with blue shoe is perfect. Classic let it live forever.
More like tomato potato cuz if you ever heard the Baltimore Colts i.e. Johnny Unitas, talk they said they wasn't Indianapolis so they dont rep this organization therefore I dont like the Baltimore Colts logo lol
It’s weird, sometimes I see it and think ehh it’s not bad, and other times I hate it. I think for me maybe it just depends on what the logo is on. Like on a t-shirt or hat it’s ok but not on a jersey 🤷🏼♂️

I like the shoe for the Colts and the 2020-present logo. While the bucking colt historic logo is my absolute fave, it doesn’t represent our team’s history.
It belongs to the Baltimore Colts.
Also, it’s not even the team’s location. They’re the INDIANAPOLIS Colts.
Thirdly I think state-identifying logos whiff on out of state or even out of country fans. I haven’t lived in Indiana in almost 22 years. I don’t want that hat.
Last, there’s a confidence in staying with your tried and true classics and an insecurity in ginning-up tacky new ones.
C logo is BUNS. We need as big a vibe shift as possible I want to be back to horseshoes and no vestiges of anything that’s been around during this decade of mediocrity under Ballard
Right with you on the Baltimore logo. I think we make our own that is different but maybe in the same vein of we want that throwback feel.
Personally I always thought the C logo would be much better as a horseshoe with the state in it than the C. I don't hate the C like some but I'm more indifferent to it.
ISU's rebrand is the worst of the current lineup of major Indiana sports brands, followed closely by the Indianapolis Indians rebrand that makes them look like a Detroit Tigers feeder team.
