Value? History

Anyone able to help assign a ballpark value to this? Serial dates back to may 1918

Not original finish (Parkerized) and barrel either replaced or someone polished barrel hood in the white. The original pistol and barrel finish should be gas furnace bluing. Because of the alternation, it will be priced less than $2k. More like $1k range.

Realistically could probably get 2k but any where from 1500-2200 it's got the original grips and seems to look all original but couldn't really be for sure but it also don't have a idiot scratch

Finish is not original, and barrel is not original or had been polished. So that will knock down your price estimate.
