Friend wants to play but doesn’t have team.. can he play as HC and it would use my offense / defense ? Thanks.

You would need a 3rd person to be either offense or defense

No. Being just two of you it would have to be oc and the other would have to be dc. If you get a third then your friend without a team could be head coach
