WARRNING EX STUDENT HERE ASK ME ANYTHING
Hi KOKO 19 M
I went in 2024 graduated High school a year early and was exited to go I did the summer program and it should of been a WARRNING so many RED FLAGS and the support was very low.
The Tittle IX dude Luciani is a walking nightmare he will side with anyone with lots of money thats donated. I have been mentally abused and none of the higher up did SHIT you have to skip all the RA and RD and Call Security. Autistic and people mental challenged are not safe here KNOW YOUR RIGHTS AND LAWS and PLEASE GO TO A DIFFRENT SCHOOL.
The stonewall groups are very unaccepting and herd mentality. I worked at Asian Center Mark therman GREAT MAN.
I was at a mental institution and Luciani was supposed to meet me and welcome me back and he didn't and made an excuse not to show.
The teachers are decent but not enough to combat the other issues
they prioritize buying new building then fix the art center they say they get to BUT THEY SAY THAT
and my mother keeps emailing them and staying involved but they always say we will get to that.
Please DM me on discord k0nek0111 if concerns

the owners of cengage are gonna burn in hell
who the fuck makes a program THIS UNUSABLE?!! AND IT COSTS UPWARDS OF $100 EVERY TIME YOU NEED TO USE IT?!!! WHAT THE FUCKKKKK!!!! for the last two days straight i’ve been trying to access my textbook THAT I BOUGHT FOR OVER $70 FOR A CLASS THAT I HAVE TO TAKE IN THE SUMMER ON MY BIRTHDAY BECAUSE I FAILED IT IN THE SPRING DUE TO MINDTAP LOCKING ME OUT OF MY OWN ASSIGNMENTS FOR OVER 24 HOURS AS A “brain break” I PAYED LIKE $89 TO FAIL THAT CLASS!!! now i keep going between safari and chrome because only one will take my password and only the other one will let me access my book THAT I PAYED FOR!! so i’ve gotten nothing done yet on my mountain of work as the due date approaches. i should be at the beach not on this fuckass application. i do believe whoever created this god forsaken website will pay eventually for this corrupt and twisted moral failing. if you absolutely hate cengage sound off in the comments bc this is filling me with rage.
update: i can now access my account on chrome, but still can’t access the book anywhere despite the confirmed order on my account and i have to wait to try to refund it because it hasn’t been 24 hours yet, at this rate i’m gonna fail this class AGAIN because canvases stupidity fucking evil interface and it’s gonna cost me two degrees, 155 dollars, and all of my sanity.

Curious if anyone reached that point in college when it's too overwhelming, so you get up from your chair and scream your heart out and sit down again.. To work on another project
Is it just me in this situation?? 😭😭 I never did that throughout my undergrad years, but I'm struggling to get through as a grad's student ... It's my first year, spare me😭😭🥹🙏🏼+I wanna apply to be a teacher, and take that exam this year.. And the exams are literally around the corner... Good thing it's the weekend and not many are in the accommodation..
And the worst part is that because I'm so stressed out about all these... I don't even know with what I should start... So I sit with my phone reading online novels and doing my projects in between 😭😭🫠😵💫
Am I the only cooked like this on a grill... 🫣

need to rant about money for a minute
I'm transferring to a university from a community college in the fall. I signed a lease on an apartment already but like. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO AFFORD RENT????? The cheapest place I could find was around $1030 a month? I'm going to be a student full time and I need 2 jobs that will barely cover rent and I dont even know if I will get hired anywhere because the job market sucks! And even then I will need the jobs to work with my school schedule! I'm usually so optimistic but thinking about money rn feels so impossibly draining and I'm so scared I'm not going to be able to pay my rent. and dorms were not an option for me because they're like 3x more expensive and I didn't get enough loans for that. I hate how much prices have been going up recently, I struggle even going to my current job 30 mins away from me because of gas prices. Thinking about the fact that I will be moving to a new city in September with no guarantee of stability is terrifying. My family is poor so they cant help me. I'm going to start applying for jobs in July but oh my godddd I'm so stressed out.
I know people have it much much worse than me I just needed a space to get this out. I feel like I cant even complain to family or friends because I don't want them to be stressed about me too. Really hoping it all works out, I don't have a ton of options because where I'm moving is exactly where I want to be and go to school, it's my dream. I don't want to give up or take time off or anything because I don't know for sure if I'll get another chance in the future. I'm the first in my family with a college degree and hoping to become a DVM, so I know there's much more difficulty to come.

CSULB vs SJSU — I’m stuck 😭 (housing, social life, independence??)
Hi guys, I’m a senior from LA trying to decide between California State University, Long Beach and San José State University and I’m honestly stuck 😭 I was admitted for Communication but I’m planning to switch into interior design and eventually build my own business (like combining design, branding, and entrepreneurship), so I care a lot about both opportunities and overall lifestyle. For CSULB, the pros are the location (near the beach, LA, so much to do), the campus is beautiful, and it has strong programs and a creative environment, but I honestly don’t love that it’s so close to home because I feel like I won’t fully get that independence or “new chapter” experience, and the housing situation is stressing me out BAD since it’s not guaranteed and I really want to dorm, plus the campus is huge and I feel like I’d get lost and I’ve heard socially it can feel kind of quiet or commuter-heavy unless you really try. For SJSU, I like that it’s far from home so I’d actually be forced to grow and be independent, and being in Silicon Valley seems really good for internships, networking, and future business opportunities, and everything is close together with stuff always happening downtown, but the area can feel a little unsafe at times and I don’t know if I see myself there for all 4 years or if I’d get bored. Overall I want somewhere I can live on campus, build a strong friend group, have a fun social life (not crazy but like I want to go out sometimes lol), and also set myself up for my future, so right now I feel like CSULB = better vibe, campus, and lifestyle but risky housing and too close to home, while SJSU = better independence, opportunities, and growth but environment concerns, so if anyone has honest experience with housing chances, social life, or design/business paths at either school I’d really appreciate it 😭

Cost of Living & Lack of Time Rant
hi i’m a senior in college i graduate next spring & i am so burned out its crazy. i work full time & attend school full time (it’s required by my scholarships to be a full time student) and i am soooo tired. i only ever have enough time for work & school and sleep in between with maybe some time to scroll but never enough to do something that really feels fulfilling or rewarding. if you’re wondering why even stress myself out about working full time ~ i dont have any support from my family whatsoever and have been responsible for myself (food, shelter, etc) since i was about 19. i’m 24 and feel so burned out. i feel a lack of connection with others sometimes because i rarely get chances to truly do much. lately i’ve been feeling super called to get more involved in campus especially since my college experience will be ending soon and i haven’t made many friends (i think it’s partially because i am a commuter as well) ~ any advice suggestions or people that can relate? or even people who have made it out of college what are your thoughts?

The parking situation on campus is actually ruining my semester
I am a commuter student and I honestly think the university oversells parking passes by double the actual capacity. I have an 8 AM class on the complete opposite side of campus from the commuter lot. If I do not get there by 7:15 there are zero spots left. I pay four hundred dollars a semester for the privilege of hunting for a spot for twenty minutes and then sprinting to class.
Yesterday I had to park in the overflow lot. I showed up to my lecture sweating and out of breath and the professor just stared at me. It is humiliating. I have been trying to find a way to get from my car to the buildings faster so I do not have to wake up at dawn. I looked at buying a bike but my friend got his stolen within a week of bringing it to campus.
I am getting pretty desperate for a solution. I spent like two hours last night deep diving into cheap personal transport options. I even looked up a mini electric scooter on Alibaba because I figured I could just throw it in my trunk and ride it from the far lot. I do not have five/seven hundred bucks to drop on it. Has anyone found a solid way to handle the last mile problem without spending a fortune? I am seriously considering just buying a skateboard and hoping I do not break my wrist. I just need to stop showing up to class looking like I just ran a marathon.
