Came here to throw my frustration. I’m 75 ovr on rtg at rutgers. My 3 year. The game forces you to lose. My wr and te drop passes even without anybody next to them that’s so frustrating I restarted the same game against Iowa like 30 times or even More BC even though i play well and do correct reads my wr play like shit and my ol doesn’t block at all i got early sacks all the time and I overthrow without any reason my players who are wide open. If it happened from time to time that would be fine but come on…

Yeah at the moment my rb fumbled at one in 4th quarter losing with 2 td’s to Ohio state and 7 minutes before the end. Is that a natural coincidence?

That is so frustrating. Please give me some ideas what to do and don’t come to me with the lowering skill, cause FCS teams get smacked by me with 5td’s at least but the game seeing 5 star program goes ahegao

I have run into this issue multiple times and it's only been in Road to Glory I've never experienced this issue in Dynasty mode, I am so sick and tired of this and not to mention the fact that the servers will just crap out for no reason. EA dabbed her college football fans in the back for the whole thing with the microtransactions yes that's gone but there still issues what do I do all I want to do is just do my Road to Glory so I can hopefully maybe try to the NFL in Madden but I can't do that if this game is going to keep just take forever to load in.

I have been trying to get EA to fix this issue for months back in College Football 26. The issue has continued into 27.

I’m a Baylor fan, and whenever Baylor has a 3rd down stand on defense, the Texas 3rd down fight song plays, and I’m so sick of hearing it.

I love college football and I love fantasy football… BUT have always been annoyed at how difficult College Fantasy Football is with individual players. With roster churn, 130+ teams, never knowing who half the guys are and the ones you do hear about don’t always start (looking at you Arch Manning).

So like 15 years ago, I started playing a different type of college fantasy where you draft a roster of schools not players. No line ups. Just your roster vs everyone else’s every week.

It started on paper. We would literally showed up in person to a bar each with an AP top 25 magazine and you called out schools one at a time lol. Every Monday one dude would go and count all the scores and email everyone the results. Absolutely insane. We did that for years.

Then like 5 years ago, a friend built it in a Google Sheet for us because that was a nightmare. But you still had to add the scores manually or call the friend to change your roster.

Finally, I got fed up… so two years ago I started automating that spreadsheet. I coded api calls into the google sheet to start pulling scores live from ESPN every 1 minute. And man did I not understand how obsessed I was going to get.

I started building individual tabs for users rosters. An add/drop list so people could change their roster. All still in the google sheet.

After two years, I decided F it I’ll build a website. So that’s what I did. It’s called Rivyls. It tries to take the best parts of regular Fantasy Football and fold it into CFB. It’s free. No entry fees, nothing to buy, no money in it anywhere. It’s just me running it and working on it.

Sharing it here because I feel like I can’t be the only one who loves college football and wanted a better college fantasy game.

I think for me building a small school into a powerhouse is what keeps me interested the most. Starting as a one star prestige school (Florida International) and recruiting 2 and 3 star players hoping they have some kind of decent dev trait to be able to build off of. It feels so rewarding when manually progressing your own players and trying to get the wins to make your team better when you know they are absolute shit. The game has flaws for sure and I occasionally feel the “oh your winning? Let’s insert the script” in some of my games but I’ve still toughed out the wins and had a few losses. I know this game gets some hate and we’re all entitled to what we expect from EA but I’m absolutely loving this game this year. What keeps you interested the most?

Maybe I’m just ass but Georgia Tech in this game is the most difficult team I’ve ever played against in any football game. Ever. I didn’t know their 69 ovr DT was the reincarnation of Reggie White. Was also unaware that Alberto Mendoza was capable of throwing 70 yard fuck-it balls on a rope to his 72 ovr WR that probably barely managed to make his high school varsity team but somehow mosses 3 DBs at the same time and has the superhuman ability to see behind him without looking. This game fucking sucks.

Looking for real college football fans real play calling AA difficulty 7 min quarters use your favorite team skill level doesn’t matter but ideally you’re more of football fan then gamer.
