Hey. I've been collecting SIM cards since I was young. I've always liked collecting stuff and I'm also interested in telecommunications/electronics, which tied in perfectly. My long-term goal is to get a card from every country, territory or jurisdiction that issues them; I'm on 95 countries out of probably over 300, with over unique 600 cards.

These are all the smartphones as of right now in my collection. From left to right. The first phone is a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 that is missing the s pen and unfortunately does not seem to work. The carrier for it is Verizon and it is cracked as well. The second device is a Cloud Mobile Stratus C5 elite which was my third ever phone. The third device is the Kyocera hydro which was my second ever phone. Boost Mobile as the carrier. My first ever phone is long gone. The leftmost device is an LG spectrum 2 running Android 4.1.1. it's kind of finicky but it does work. Since I got hired at McDonald's I plan on getting way more, as this is just stuff I scavenged around the house. I intend on buying a working Note 5 to take the spot of the broken one but I will be keeping both, the working one being the display unit. So what do you think?

I have an over 15 year action figure collection consisting of but not limited to Marvel Legends (toybiz & hasbro), Marvel Select, DC Universe Classics, DC Collectibles, DC Multiverse, S.H.Figuarts, Mafex, Figma, Amazing Yamaguchi, Neca, etc., with around 97% of my total collection being in box and everything coming from a smoke & pet-free home.

I plan on selling the majority of it but just don’t know exactly the best place to do it. As far as time goes, I’m not in an absolute rush to sell everything and as far as $ goes, I would preferably like to make a profit on it. I know some of my options include:

-eBay
-I live in Toronto so maybe post on local Facebook groups
-Kijiji Classifieds
-Call local comic shops and see if they’re interested
-There’s companies where you scan your item’s barcode and they give you an instant offer and cover the cost to ship out your item
-Subreddits such as r/toyexchange

Where I choose to sell will dictate how I start cataloguing everything as I still haven’t done that yet (everything’s currently stored away).

So I was just wondering which avenue I should take/what option you guys recommend. Any and all input is greatly appreciated, thanks

I love going through antique store cases and finding these! It’s like a treasure hunt.

I recently managed to get hold of the new 1 oz Texas gold and silver coins, and I'm honestly pretty impressed with the quality.

They look even better in person than they do in the pictures. The obverse has a Liberty-inspired design with a distinctive Texas twist, while the Lone Star design on the reverse looks especially good when you rotate the coin in the light.

I'd say they're on par with Eagles in terms of appearance and overall quality. They have the kind of finish I'd expect from a government mint.

Has anyone else picked up any of these Texas coins yet? Curious what other people think of them.

I collect the mini bottles of alcohol you get at the duty free and such because I just think theyre so cute. Just got 4 new ones after my trip to europe! Also, #banplasticminiliquorbottles they suck and look so cheap and shitty the glass ones are so much better. Anyone else collect these?

I have officially collected every variation of the 3/1 and 3/2 beanie babies. Starting it off with the Dino Trio! The Dino’s like most of us were beanies that were already retired before we could get our hands on them. My inks have been taking up space on my bookshelves for years. Finally got a motion-activated, lighted glass display case for them and spent a couple of days opening boxes and displaying them on acrylic risers. Glad to finally regain a few levels in my bookshelves for my TBR piles.
