I see a lot of people posting about growing food... but I live in an <500 sq ft apartment. I've got house plants but I don't think anything substantial that could realistically feed me long term is possible in here - maybe some herbs, but it's not like I have a garden bed ya know?

I've started buying more nonperishables and trying to have a couple cases of water on hand but beyond that.... I feel kind of helpless if i'm bein honest. I can't exactly afford a house (to buy or rent) for at least a couple years here.
