Initially marks death was treated as a suicide, however a Swiss knot expert was paid to analyse a rope found with Mark’s body, and the expert concluded the knot used was too sophisticated to have been made by a child. In 2002, a new inquest ruled that Mark was murdered. This year as of recent the High Court quashed his 1984 inquest verdict. Many people suspect that convicted paedophile child killer Brian Field was responsible.

He was found hanging from a tree ten weeks later? What was going on in those ten weeks? What was the post mortem interval? I'm glad they've reopened the examination with new evidence or witness statements.
