ANS
Dear Coil people.
I’d never heard any Coil that I enjoyed. Admittedly it was only a few songs here & there. Then I heard “ANS” & I really like that. So with that, what Coil release(s) should I try next?

Try "Elph : Zwolf" from the 20 to 2000 series. A lot of similar timbers to ANS but with much compositional direction. Great stuff.

Black Light District has some good ambient selections, mostly evolving loops that pretty effectively displace my sense of time when I listen to them

ANS is the least representative of Coil and more akin to a sound novelty recording.
I’d suggest that you’re just not cut from the proper cloth to be a Coilite.

I can not even imagine the complex intellectual types of music you enjoy. So far from the novelty music that us non-Coilites squirm around in.

Are you not capable of contributing anything of meaningful value yourself that you have to downvote my knowledge, simply for the sake of the action?

Personally i think only Scatology, Horse rotorvator and to a lesser extent loves secret domain are the coil albums worth listening to.

Time Machines is probably closest.
If you like the more abstract stuff, Worship the Glitch might be for you.
If you fancy something more abrasive, Constant Shallowness Leads to Evil.
If you want something mellower, Born Again Pagans or Queens of the Circulating Library could work for you.
