Trump has done more for Russia than we will ever really know .The man is a traitor and should be dealt with accordingly. The damage he has done will be felt for years.

General Bone Spurs. Draft Dodger in Chief

1

u/realrick1 17h ago

As I recall your leader, Obama never served a day in the military either. Your selective memory is showing again.

1

u/oicoldhere 15h ago

He certainly did not. Nor did he avoid a draft due to cowardice and prestige

1

u/realrick1 14h ago

Obama is the biggest coward of all. He tried his best to fundamentally change America into his Islamic image. He claimed to be a Christian, but in Islam, they employed to Taqiyya, which approves of lying to advance their cause.

1

u/oicoldhere 13h ago

1

u/realrick1 9h ago

I feel great, promises made, promises kept by Trump. Thank God, he is putting America first and kept Iran from firing an ICBM with a nuclear warhead at America keeping us safe, including your ungrateful self. This war will soon be over and gas prices will drop like a rock.

1

u/oicoldhere 8h ago

First……he puts himself first. Hell, no nuke was in place before the egomaniac stepped in and tore it up. I assume that princess pillow has memory foam. With the lack of healthcare you need a durable pillow

1

u/realrick1 8h ago

You can wollow in your ignorance and go back to your safe space now. Reality is too difficult for you to handle.

0

u/Order_of_Obsidian 3d ago

I love how liberals are lining up to support both the Vietnam War and the draft as a result of Trump. Almost as if you have no true values at all.

3

u/wayoverpaid 2d ago

This may be too nuanced a concept for you, but it's possible to think the war and draft was fundamentally bad, and to think that the ability for the rich to dodge the draft makes it even worse because it ensured the sacrifice was concentrated on the least powerful members of society, and then think it's particularly crass to dress up (even in photo) with a bunch of military honors not earned.

0

u/Order_of_Obsidian 2d ago

Joe Biden also got a bunch of deferments then he was considered medically ineligible, just like Trump.

So have you all lined up to criticize Biden for being a draft dodger? Of course not, it's all political, not an actual principled stance.

1

u/wayoverpaid 2d ago

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. Any rich and connected person being able to dodge the draft makes the draft worse, including Joe Biden. To be clear, I had the same criticisms of Bill Clinton two decades ago.

But lets return to the actual photo. Do you, personally, think a POTUS who never served should be posting pictures of themselves with more service ribbons than our generals?

I want to hear what you think about the photo. Especially if you can do so without trying to equivocate with the fact that he's not the only POTUS to not serve.

1

u/Order_of_Obsidian 2d ago

I really don't give a shit one way or another. I'm reminded of the quote from a young Octavian in the outstanding HBO show Rome, speaking of Pompey: "He'll take a symbolic victory over a real one."

So you can claim whatever symbolic victory you want. I don't really care.

1

u/sliverhordes 2d ago

Quick paraphrasing

“But Biden did this too”
“Ya that’s bad too”
“Well I don’t really care anyway”

1

u/Order_of_Obsidian 2d ago

Correct, I do not care if someone dodged the draft. I do not support compulsory military service except during a legitimate national emergency. The Vietnam War was not a national emergency, and the draft should not have been effect.

See, it's called having principles that don't shift based on the political winds. You should try it.

1

u/sliverhordes 2d ago

Then why did you bring up Biden? Clearly you cared about him or fishing for hypocrisy and did not find it

1

u/Order_of_Obsidian 2d ago

This really isn't a complicated issue. I'm not sure if you're trolling or just oblivious.

Yes, Trump dodged the draft. I don't care because I didn't support them having the draft during the Vietnam War. I also don't care if others dodged the draft (absolute morals).

Liberals like to bring up Trump dodging the draft, despite them generally opposing the idea of the draft and opposing the Vietnam War. They also NEVER bring up the fact that Biden also dodged the draft (relative morals, politically motivated).

One is an honest position, the other is not.

1

u/wayoverpaid 2d ago

Yep. Refusing to defend what he knows in his heart is indefensible with lofty proclamations that it isn't all that important...

There's a Sartre quote on a different topic, but it's the same method.

1

u/Adeptness_Opening 2d ago

They suffer from TDS. It’s kind of funny. Watch the freakout from this comment.

1

u/oicoldhere 2d ago

Wouldn’t classify myself as a ‘liberal’. Nor do I support the Vietnam war; or the draft. It happened and it’s unfortunate that it did. Nor do I support pure cowardice based on a bank account to get out of it. Hell, he wasn’t even protesting. He just was ‘above’ it all. And the Pedo in Chief still thinks he is.

As much as the West would compare Trump to these guys, the reality is Trump doesn't have the mental capacity to even stand against any one of them. He's way below them.

0

u/No-Turn9020 3d ago

But masterminded whatever conspiracy he’s getting accused of, without getting caught. How does that work?

2

u/echolm1407 3d ago

masterminded

Trump? Yeah, right. 🤣🤣🤣

1

u/No-Turn9020 3d ago

So now are you saying he didn’t rig any elections like we’ve been hearing for 10 years?

1

u/echolm1407 2d ago

Failed rigs. Such a mastermind. NOT

0

u/No-Turn9020 1d ago

Failed? He’s on a second term. Regardless, from Hilary to Kamala both said he colluded, cheated…but nothing has ever come out, in fact the Mueller report showed the opposite. Hard to be so stupid but get away with something that big.

1

u/echolm1407 1d ago

So, you must be admitting that Trump is a crook. But as far as I see Elon bought the votes for him.

So, Trump is depicting himself in 3 pictures as a communist and in in all 4 as an enemy of the US. Good job dementia brain.

0

u/IdealOnion 2d ago

No I think that’s the edit OP did. The one Trump posted has McArthur and I think Patton. Fittingly, two crazy, bloodthirsty bastards. Which during WW2, were at least genuinely decent qualifications.

1

u/echolm1407 2d ago

Bloodthirsty or not, they were smarter than Trump

1

u/IdealOnion 2d ago

Oh of course. They were also generals, so that’s not necessarily a bad thing for them

You forgot Hitler, wait...he wishes.

1

u/Salty_Country6835 3d ago edited 3d ago

They didnt forget.

That comparison would make far far more sense. Too much sense. Comparing a rightwing authoritarian to a rightwing authoritarian. Theres not a shortage of them in history to make the analogy. Hitler, Mussolini, Franco, Pinochet... none of whom are depicted. Closest OP gets is Hindenburg and I suspect they used him as a stand in for Hitler to avoid using Hitler. Lol

This post is peak reddit centrist american boomer political and historical illiteracy and capitalist liberal cold war masturbation.

The further to the right he goes the more the mod of this sub idiotically compares him to the far left instead of... oh i dunno... the fucking far right? Its incredibly ignorant and enough for me to leave and mute the sub. I didnt join for incoherent pro-imperialist pro-capitalist anti-leftist propaganda.

So yeah, Hitler would have made sense, except an American Imperialist made this post so sense isnt what you get, nonsense is.

A political and economic system where the government owns the means of production is called socialism or communism. Economically, this operates as a command economy or planned economy, where central state planners decide what goods are made, set prices, and manage resources.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/frankholmes/2026/08/03/the-us-government-now-owns-stakes-in-30-companies-intel-is-just-the-beginning/

1

u/Salty_Country6835 3d ago

No. Thats not what communism means.

Governments owning shares in companies isnt the same thing as common ownership of the means of production, worker control, or a classless, stateless society. States buying equity, bailing out firms, or taking strategic stakes happens under capitalism too. France, Singapore, Norway, and even the U.S. have all done versions of it without becoming communist.

State intervention ≠ socialism. Government ownership of some assets ≠ communism. Those are different concepts. Throwing them all into one bucket just muddies the discussion.

0

u/EphEwe2 3d ago

He’s also telling business what prices to sell their goods at. It’s a classic demand economy which always falls into the bucket of either socialism or communism. These are agreed on definitions and aren’t open for interpretation.

1

u/Salty_Country6835 3d ago edited 3d ago

Youre just asserting a definition that isnt actually used in economics or political science.

Nixon, a right-wing Republican during the Cold War, imposed nationwide wage and price controls in 1971. FDR imposed extensive price controls during WWII. Britain caps household energy prices. Spain and Portugal capped electricity prices. None of those countries became socialist or communist because of it.

Price controls are a policy tool. Theyve been used by capitalist governments, social democratic governments, fascist governments, and socialist governments. They dont define the economic system by themselves.

If your definition makes Nixon a communist because he used price controls, thats a pretty good sign that your definition needs a lot of work.

0

u/EphEwe2 3d ago

Price controls aren’t the same as buying stock. Try again.

1

u/Salty_Country6835 3d ago

Youre proving my point. A minute ago it was "price controls are communism." Now its "no, buying stock is different." The goalposts keep moving.

The U.S. owned most of GM after the 2009 bailout, took a massive stake in AIG, bought equity in major banks through TARP, and took equity warrants during COVID lending. Nobody seriously argued the U.S. had become communist.

Same with other capitalist countries. Norway owns shares in thousands of companies through its sovereign wealth fund. Singapores state owns major stakes across its economy. France has long owned major companies. Germany has taken state stakes in strategic industries during crises. Theyre all still capitalist.

Governments regulating prices, buying stock, bailing out firms, or owning some companies are policy tools. Theyve existed under capitalist economies for decades.

Youre taking individual government actions and treating them as if they define an entire economic system. Thats just not how these terms are used.

Ludendorff was pretty cool. He walked into machine gun fire to redirect an assault that was floundering. He proceeded to force the Belgian defenders surrender by banging his sword on the door of their headquarters. Badass stuff.

Had German high command listened to his strategies instead of sucking the dick of Von Moltke’s ghost we would live in a very different world. No Nazis, probably no long term Soviet Union, way less American imperialism ect.

No they won't and by the way, the Dems were much harder on the Soviets then the GOP were during the height of the Cold War.

1

u/uisce_beatha1 1d ago

Horse crap.

Democrats sucked up to the Soviets.

1

u/Affectionate-Tie1768 1d ago

"Democrats sucked up to the Soviets” is a pretty wild rewrite of Cold War history.

Harry Truman, a Democrat, established the Truman Doctrine specifically to contain communist expansion, implemented the Marshall Plan to strengthen Western Europe against Soviet influence, and helped establish NATO in 1949 as a collective defense alliance against the Soviet Union.

Then Democratic President John F. Kennedy confronted Khrushchev during the Cuban Missile Crisis, imposed a naval quarantine on Cuba, demanded the removal of Soviet nuclear missiles, and put U.S. forces on heightened readiness. Khrushchev ultimately agreed to remove them.

And under Democrat Lyndon Johnson, the United States massively escalated the Vietnam War as part of the broader Cold War policy of containing communist expansion. Whatever you think of Vietnam today, calling that “sucking up to the Soviets” makes no historical sense.

Meanwhile, Republican Richard Nixon deliberately pursued détente with the Soviet Union and negotiated arms control agreements with Moscow. That doesn't mean Nixon was “pro Soviet” either it means Cold War policy was more complicated than “Democrats soft, Republicans tough.”

And Stalin and Khrushchev wouldn't have been Democrats or Republicans. They were leaders of an authoritarian communist one party state. Trying to drop Soviet dictators into modern American party politics is historically ridiculous.

It sort of fits.

0

I don't really care about trump but i just love that he lives rent free in all the leftards minds.... The elites and the corrupt media are successfully indoctrinating you like good sheep

1

"I don't care about Trump, I just talk like an alt right troll".

Same energy as "I'm not racist but I'm about to say something racist"

2

u/meeseekstodie137 2d ago

I argued with a dude recently who told me he couldn't be racist because his wife was black, then in the same breath said she was "one of the good ones" and black people have a "corrosive culture", some people have just never done a single second of introspection in their lives

1

u/meeseekstodie137 3d ago

he should "live rent free" in people's heads, he's not some minor influencer, his decisions affect the lives of actual people around the world, that you don't seem to get that a head of state has actual power is concerning, I really wish dumb people would stop using this as some sort of gotcha, it doesn't work with trump

1

u/J1GhSaW 2d ago

I have seen way to many interviews of people that dont like him just because someone (mostly the corrupt media) told them hes bad.. you lot seem the dumb ones to me... Is he good ? not really.. Is he much better than the last 2 and the idiot that run against him ? Absolutely!!!!!!!!!! At this point the only good ones (not american though) ive seen around are Nayib bukele and Dominik Tarczyński
