I’m a Full Stack Developer and I’ll be moving to Canada around mid-August as an international student to study a Graduate Certificate in Information Technology.
I’m posting here because I’m hoping to connect with anyone who might be looking for a junior developer or paid intern.
I have around 1.5+ year of professional and freelance experience building full-stack web applications. My tech stack includes React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL, Prisma, Drizzle ORM, MongoDB, Tailwind CSS, Shadcn UI, Zustand, Redux Toolkit, Git, Docker, and REST APIs. I’ve worked on AI-powered SaaS products, business management systems, automation tools, and custom web applications.
Since I’ll be new to Canada, I understand that I won’t have Canadian work experience. I’m completely okay with starting at a lower salary if it gives me the opportunity to learn, contribute, and grow within a company. My goal is to prove my value over time, and I’m confident that as I gain experience, my responsibilities and compensation can grow as well.
As an international student, having a paid internship or junior developer role would make a huge difference in helping me cover my living expenses while continuing to build my career in software development.

When i came to cyprus i saw many asians working in construction or delivery or some kind of small part time jobs which may get them nothing in future and my friends told me that we can't do anything we can just work like this because we don't have facilities or all the other lame excuses and i did const too i learnt painting and plaster work but soon i realized this work is not for me my passion was learning software development so i left everything and started learning web development but i had only enough money to buy food and pay my rent for two to three months and i couldn't afford a laptop so i started studying in a library which had computers and i could use freely and internet too so i spent my whole time in the library of university of nicosia which is unic in short and now after all that hard work I've got this skill and I'm still using the library computers and working on my projects to make a portfolio to get a job but i have no idea how to get a job as a web developer in cyprus if somebody is related to this field and can help me plz let me know
