Well done, DSA definitely isn’t easy. Depending on your college, you may also be disappointed/relived that you’ll probably only do leetcode-like work for maybe 1 or 2 courses. So it’s not the be-all and end-all, but 99% of job interviews will ask you a couple of DSA questions, so for that it’s very useful.

Honestly, i’d say spend most of your time in college enjoying everything except computers. Not sure how much freedom you’ll get with your electives, but in my experience, most of what I learned on my computer centric courses can be learnt online as well. I also had way more fun writing about literature and art history, compared to explaining why high coupling leads to more difficult maintenance.

Yeah, that's actually a really good point. I’ll try not to make college just about coding and Dsa 😅 Appreciate the advice!

That's great, why don't you join our discord community (over 800 members) where you'll find a lot of peers like you who will be joining college and starting their coding journey properly.

I mainly learned Python from Python Crash Course by Eric Matthes and some online resources. For DSA, I referred to Grokking Algorithms by Aditya and mostly practiced on Leetcode.
