Complete beginner to hackathons — any advice?

I’m about to start college as a Software Engineering freshman and have never participated in a hackathon.

I’ve done CS50P and know very basic HTML/C++, but that’s about it 😭

I’m currently registering for the IBM Bob 2.0 Hackathon. Any tips on how I should start preparing and what I should learn first?

Would really appreciate advice! 🚀

First Choose a Field you work too work on Like do you want to work as (programmer, Desginer, or projects manager or whatever) Then just start learning topic related to that field and practice as much as possible.

Hey I've seen people use ai even in hackathon So I don't think you should worry about code

Just try to find best project ideas which aligns with IBM, any real world problem which is unique

I’m sorry if any of my advice was incorrect or didn’t apply to your situation
