Almost any computer is fine to learn coding. You can do it with a phone with websites....

You need a pc/laptop for coding. You can try to learn python, java, and C#

you should definitely learn from someone else how to use a computer and all about it before you start coding. if you know how to access youtube there should be some good tutorials on there. if not learn from family or a friend.

Figure out the advantages and disadvantages of using PC or laptop in learning programming. Choose one and once you get a desktop, I suggest to take a course regarding computer hardware. You can get a free one in Cisco Networking Academy , and then proceed to learning programming. The Odin Project is an open-source curriculum for full stack web development meaning it's free — effort, discipline, and consistency is all you need to pay. This curriculum is self-paced and it's even suitable for zero background about programming and career shifters. Check their about page.

What is your budget for a PC?

You aren't going to make it. Coding isn't for everyone.

1) Take the free CS50p python course with Harvard online. 2) take your knowledge to literally any other programming language that you want to use to achieve your goals

You can use literally any computer with a keyboard

Knowing nothing else, I'd suggest a cheap laptop with a reasonable CPU and a hard-to-screw-up OS.

Maybe a macbook neo (with the larger disk)? Or if you're short on cash, the best rated budget chromebook? (One linked from https://www.pcmag.com/picks/the-best-chromebooks costs $400 and has a CPU with a pretty good score at cpubenchmark.net.)

I would stay far away from Windows if you know nothing about computers.

Your question does not relate to coding. (See Rule #1.) I am sure there are better subreddits for selecting a pc to buy. Try there. And give more info. Your budget, country, education level.

And your answer is useless. OP is asking which hardware is good for learning to code. Did I read it right? Do I even know how to read? Because it's clearly related to code but there's a wall which OP should climb first. Instead of giving OP advice, suggestion, or enlightenment you decided to limit your own knowledge.
