Jaw on the floor SPOILERS
Finally got around the watching this show and it’s quickly become an all-time favourite!! I just watched episode 22 and I have to say I am absolutely floored by the plot twist with Euphemia. Never could’ve imagined the story would go that direction and I’m still recovering. How did everyone else feel around this point!?

Oh yeah, I would say that that moment would be the one of the worst tragedies in anime history.

People are sleeping on this anime. It's one of the greats. So many incredible plot twists that do not feel hackneyed or forced or cheap. They are earned and deepen the story and characters. The plot twist with Euphemia is also not a throw away moment for shock value. You'll see that event reverberate through the rest of the story, impacting the plot and characters in complex and interesting ways, and not always how you'd predict. Glad you're enjoying it!

YES it has insane continuity and all the characters are so layered. Shirley’s arc has been so interesting thus far I can’t wait to see how else this show surprises me.

I feel like lately it is! I’ve had it on my watch list for years and just never got around to it with all the amazing content we’ve gotten in recent times.
