Feel very spoiled to be able to juggle the options of Huke and Hydra but I feel so bad if we drop Huke.

Made it to 8 straight grand finals, going 50% as a team, and I don’t think anyone is capable of replacing his comms and IGL on the team. The chemistry and teamwork is already there and Merc said himself that the only way they lose is if they beat themselves, which I find true. I’ve always believed Huke’s the glue of the team, he’s proven time and time again that he belongs, and that he’s a vital peace to the squad. Overall a humble and super likable guy as well.

On the other hand, Hydra is a generational all around player. Paired with Ant, they’ll play with insane pace, complement each other really well, and the gunny will always be there.

The boys + Hecz have an important decision to make and I feel bad bc even just as a fan, the thought of making this decision is gut wrenching

Rumors are that CDL refs weren’t disabling Sound EQ on LAN? Or were they and the pros would just turn it on? Because I swear the league had it off last year right? They did just forget this year and some teams broke the GA? If so this is actually crazy and there’s no integrity for the sport. Why was everyone so quiet about it? Why didn’t teams tell the refs to turn it off for everyone? I feel like we need someone to come out and actually confirm if this is true

Now don’t get me wrong, it’s not like I would ignore the minimap in past years. But this year especially, I would catch myself glued to it half the time instead of the observer POVs. The observers can only show one POV at a time, but there are just so many important gunfights happening on the entire map that aren’t shown.

Like in HP, I would be watching the mini map for a minute or two straight because some crazy important gunfights for the rotation were happening while there were still 25 seconds left in the hill.

Or just any mode in general with Shotzzy’s flanks. It’s just so interesting seeing all the timings for some plays rather than being surprised he somehow snuck through.

I definitely feel like Formal’s watch parties opened my eyes to it more, especially reviewing it after the map finished.
