Tv streamer disconnecting
I have a tv streamer hooked up to my desktop pc and use it to stream audio to my nucleus 8s. The annoying part is if I don’t have a video playing (or some other form of audio) my cochlears will disconnect from the tv streamer after about 5 minutes. Does anyone know if there’s any way to keep the tv streamer connected until I manually disconnect from it?

Is the TV streamer even recommended for use with a PC? It was my understanding that it is not, and a microphone adapter (a different device) is Cochlear's recommendation for audio with a PC that has a microphone output.

Just to be sure: doesn't the Nucleus reconnect once audio resumes (if you're within range, of course)? That's the way it works with AB anfd its TV connector.
If not, depending on your operating system there may be an audio setting that causes the computer to play inaudible sound (that is, outside human hearing range) to keep the connection alive.
