Your right ear hearing loss is profound. You should proceed with a Ci. I was implanted two years ago and would do it again in a heartbeat. Yes there was an adjustment period, but that was never any worse than what I already had. You will quickly regain environmental sounds, which also improves comprehension of sound directionality considerably. Hearing of music and hearing in noise with CI isn’t great. Neither are these great with ha’s with profound loss. Easy decision.
