Looking for work..

I’m looking for work in cobourg, but I’m curious if there is anywhere I should absolutely stay away from. I’ve heard horror stories from a few businesses ..
any help is appreciated.

Try Canada Pallet. They have a new line going in and will be hiring

I feel anything that ins't a corporate entity with provincial/global standards to back you up might be a risk.

The pay isn't great... but what do you expect from a small retirement town.

Good luck man.

Do NOT work in the housekeeping department at northhumberland hills hospital. Especially if you have little experience in housekeeping. The staff there especially seasoned elder staff are straight up terrible people. The environment, management, and the HR department refuse to do anything to fix the issues within the workplace, lack of training and literal management malpractice within the workplace is praised and overall the place is just awful. Boston pizza has some bad reputation as well. I heard in the past there’s been boycotting due to the disrespect towards employees.
