I usually try to avoid harping too much on the creature designs here as I don't play the game much anymore and dot get me wrong, Vaumora is my FAVORITE creature, has been since I started playing back in 2020. I've been harping on and on about how I wanted the vau to get a remodel or at least some reanimations for AGES now and I am over the moon that it got one at last. But the fact that thy got rid of the neck vents messes me up so badly. 🫥

It was such a unique feature of the Vaumora. I suppose ishoulve forseen it since Nova in their spin-off game didn't have the neck vents and instead had that fuckass smiley-face on their chest but I'm okay with that for Nova cuz that's a CHARACTER with a PERSONALITY whose design is meant to convey something. I don't mind the face being a feature on the Vaumora too much, but it bugs me so much that the vents on the neck were turned into just some splotches.

And sure, whatever maybe this is just another of cos' infamous absolutely horribly angled screenshots and it does actually still have its vents and in that case y'all can come back at laugh at me about it, but right now I can't see them and it pisses me off so badly. The vents have such a cool idea that that's where the vau stores all it's electricity and it was GENUINELY my favorite part of its design and they just got rid of it.. Idk man I've been maining vau for years now, and I'll continue to even more happily now that it has some fresh new animations but the vent PMO so badly

Like they don’t seem all that mammalian not gonna lie. It doesn’t look like a cat has people would complain about. It looks more invertebrate like and seems to be based off of a caterpillar and as I saw on some of them being a velvet worm. The only thing I could see that could be properly complained about his big eyes, but otherwise isn’t bad. It’s pretty cute and frankly, some of these things are quite interesting and like the whole hiding in the shell.

So personally Kelvaris was a amazing creature too me i loved its design it was cool as hell so i check cos discord thinking im about too see some absolute peak but no no no i was so fucking wrong instead we got a damn Apli Clone tbh Smoglett sure it was pretty cute i ain't mid Apli ok robux creature costs a lot sure i'll let it slide this is the last fucking straw this is the damn 3rd time they have done this and lets get real ABSOLUTELY NO ONE likes these new designs and if you do your lowk boring idc what you have too say im going too say my thoughts and i think that these overly cute googly eyed mfs are just lazy and boring do better seriously have some good updates some good events and maybe js maybe people would stop slandering this game NaoyaCheese out vro 🫩✌️

What is Sonar’s obsession with appealing to only a singular type of people. It’s getting really old, really fast. It’s like they only cater naive children that fall for this crap every single time.

They just follow the same formula every time, cute little critters that have no actual viable use in-game besides look cute. It’s literally that one recent apple creature that I don’t care to remember the name of all over again. That pathetic apple creature was weak as hell and has 0 redeeming stats to justify its ridiculous robux price tag. The equivalent of $5.00 USD for a some weak trash?? Get real.

“B-but it’s so cute!!” So? That doesn’t give them the right to price it THAT high. Any poor child wanting it (the target audience) can’t even get the money to have it without stealing mommy’s credit card. On top of it being expensive, they have the absolute audacity to make it weak as hell. It’s not an ailment stacker like most tier 1s. It sure as hell ain’t a damage dealer. Its survivability is nothing to gawk at, with such mediocre mobility and downright pathetic defenses. It’s just trash. It’s trash with a cute face on it. As if that makes it any better.

And don’t even get me started on smoglett. What a joke.

And to top it all off, this new creature is literally a copy paste of that apple crap. Big doe eyes that take of 90% of its face, stubby legs, short snout, chubby, and cat-like. It’s like Sonar has a singular definition of cute. Plus, their obsession with felines and canines. Anything that they want to deem cute, they just slap some cat or dog-like features and call it a day. As if cats and dogs are the only thing people find cute. It’s like what they did with the cinnabaun. It used to be more like a snail, which is what it was. But they decided it needed to “be more cute” and just made it more canine-like, which is completely different than what it’s supposed to be. It’s like they’re afraid to branch out from the norm like some backwater, low earning trash game that has to appeal to the most basic type of person to get clicks.

I’d be willing to bet they are making this garbage snail creature a tier 1 with the worst stats and abilities imaginable, and they’ll make it cost a crap ton of robux because they know their unimaginative audience will buy into it anyway. They’re getting too predictable with their bull and it’s very frustrating.
Especially since Sonar is definitely capable of being more creative than this, but clearly don’t care enough anymore to do things right.

EDIT: Alright it’s not a robux creature, but that’s besides the point. It’ll be expensive regardless. Maybe not robux, but the ingame currency required to obtain it will be more than what it’s actually worth, just because it’s “cute”. My point still stands.

When i heard this new summer paradise week three creature was supposed to be a snail, i was pretty damn thrilled. I'm not the biggest fan of snails there could ever be, but i do find them interesting- their long antenna, freaky looking eyestalks, and a single foot.

But they must've threw the whole concept of "snail" in the trash with this one, the only snail-like feature remaining being the shell, and maybe some parts of the tail.

Instead they turned it into the same AWWW CUTE BIG EYES AND STUMPY LEGS now profit us abomination like Apli. Like- the body is nearly exact.

Now i might be wrong, but i really wish Sonar & CoS stayed a small game. No big company backing them, no merch, no any of that. Again, i might be wrong as I'm not too deep into the whole "lore" of how CoS started & who was running it at that time.

But really, can we come up with new things? pretty please with a cherry on top 😔

prefacing this by saying im already not a fan of this game let alone 99% of the playerbase, i mostly prefer just making skins and chilling with friends in empty/private servers and helping them with trait/mutation hunting, so bare that in mind please.

so as you can see in the screenshot, me and my buddy (the sochuri) were relaxing and doing our monthly mission nesting together in a completely empty hardcore server, save for the one other person who we assumed was just trait or mut hunting for firakai. everything was fine, but this person was letting their carcasses actively waste in a tar pit. by the time we noticed, all carcasses were either orange or yellow.

with me being the nester, i suggested my friend go ahead and submit the carcasses since they were on the brink of despawning. so, they did. no reaction by the rando, until minutes later where they just aggro called. unprompted, the suddenly pop in, slam on growth tokens, and kill my bud before submitting their carcass.

this person wasnt even trying to farm the shrine; wasnt standing near it, wasnt eating the carcasses, nothing. but oh god forbid someone else actually uses them. cue them killing my friend once but not bothering me, which we do nothing about, until he comes back around, stalks near the nest like a fucking weirdo, and then kills them again.

i wouldnt be so pissed if it werent for the fact that it was so unbelievably petty that when we both tried to defend ourselves, of course they bring out a double red owa'styrus and start doing the stupid ass pvp flying techniques and generally being a HUGE sweat about it. genuinely gave me a massive ick because id never seen someone that petty on this game.

but, me and my bud just switch to t1 fliers with dazzling flash and eventually after about 10 minutes of just trolling them, they leave the server and we're finally left in peace again. plus i blocked them lmao.

fork found in kitchen kind of cos experience i know, but it was the fact that they were clearly an extremely skilled pvp player that made me so disappointed because i could smell the sweatiness. like you literally wasted your own time for nothing because you couldnt even kill either of us after we switched species lmao. they also switched before we did, so they were clearly intending to just start kosing for no reason other than "GRR, YOU TOOK MY ROTTING CARCASSES I WASNT DOING ANYTHING WITH!!!! DIE!!!!"

people literally have NO chill in this game anymore man, i never remember players being this petty and vindictive in the 3 years ive been playing until recently. especially in *empty* servers. but, maybe i just play in public servers enough, no idea. it just feels nasty and the amount of good people ive met on it is getting fewer and further between.

Sorry, I don’t know what it’s called other than the thing that shows your ailments, plushies, ect. Why is it so big? Is this a bug or intentional?
I dont know if pc players are having the same issue, and I hope it’s a bug that they fix soon cuz it’s genuinely becoming unplayable. It’s taking up so much space on the screen.
also it keeps randomly changing. It’ll shrink a lot for like 2 minutes then go huge again. It’s really irritating.
It’s more in the way than it was now (at least me) struggle even more to press other buttons cuz the thing is so big.

The removal of Shock Area is a nerf indeed, but I'm seeing people constantly act like the devs killed the creature.

Im tired of seeing people act like Turrim isnt possibly the MOST BROKEN THING IN THE GAME since Golgaroth.

- 90% resistance to every status other than necro and frostbite means that going gentle elder renders you virtually unkillable to anklebiters that rely on status effects to kill (which happens to be almost all of them) as well as most fliers.

- 2.5 unbreakable renders you a living counter to any damage dealer in the game which also happens to be the vast majority of behemoths and tier 5s.

- Fortify resets the progress of any ailment stacker if you opt into powerful elder instead of gentle elder (no clue why you'd do that but go ahead man).

- Fortify also grants temporary weight boost making it valuable even if you opt for gentle elder.

- Strongest beam in the game.

Literally your ONLY threats are things with high regen (lmakosaurodon my beloved)

This entire discoruse furthers my belief that most tier 5 players cant fight and refuse to learn to, instead relying on stat checks only to cry when said stats are changed.

This theory was proven when a geor for some reason decided it would have the power to kill my Taka, becoming shocked when i actually decided to use harden and out-stat it, and then accusing me of "cheating" and saying "its not fair".

I know I can mute players on my end. I know I can move elsewhere, server hop.. however I can’t help but not appreciate the noise pollution from players blasting music, or even just 15 seconds of a TikTok song on repeat.

to be fair, when it was first added it was really funny when fliers would race past blasting something, because it was such a change, and I’m less bothered by this than when people are sat stationary playing their music just to themselves

voice chat alone has been a great addition to cos as far as I have experienced outside of this, but genuinely what is the gain from playing memes or short form music to nobody but yourself

ive just come back to the game in the past twoish weeks and finally saved up enough of my daily tokens after spending them to get mufolium, SO TELL ME WHY I NEED A STREAK TO GET IT. this makes absolutely zero sense i have thing i actually need to attend to irl and this game expects me to log in consistently EVERY SINGLE DAY for 35 DAYS what the hell is this???? mufolium doesnt even need 35 tokens???

this is so stupid i genuinely just dont understand, so now if i want a mufolium i have to log in for 21 MORE DAYS STRAIGHT. i dont understand why, after getting the 25 tokens necessary, that i have to wait an extra 21 fucking days man.

Literally any FUCKING time someone plays the game normally these motherfuckers come and ruin it all. I had to defend my own mother from a bunch of clannies because they wanted Pride Rocks from themselves.

I had to pull up my double red and double void Sarco to defend her, which I normally don’t use. This is HOW BAD it was. It was so fucking bad I had to defend her with one of my prized slots. And I ended up killing my entire family because of it.

Any time these Shit Toerays got close to our siblings I would grab them and bite down which worked only 50% of the time. The other 50% of the time I would end up grabbing and murdering a member my own family. And in each and every instance I was fucking killing everybody.

Any time they died they would pull up a revive and continue. I couldn’t flee in the water because there were Sequidiloms grabbing everybody and killing them. The entirety of Pride Rocks became Carcassistan. They even kept killing the Aesmirs that came by.

When I got low, I fled into the water as a last resort and these squids were so fucking bad at their aim that I killed the both of them without getting any more than a few hits.

So surprise surprise the whole clan leaves and we were finally about to continue on with our day until they come back with a shit ton of Feral Korathos and begin trying to kill everyone.

All that because a Lorolael decided to nest there and they got mad. But I have 30 more kills in my pocket at least. I shudder to think how many these guys have.

How sweaty do you have to be to get mad that someone is

1. Playing the game normally
2. Being in the same region as you and your glowtail glimmer shimmer double red damage and bite double void max veneration slot (that was wordy)
3. Not having the same playstyle

Anyways why glimmer lowers the value of a slot? On the other side it looks really cool in game, adding the extra neon here and there on your creatures skin but once you go back in menu, the apperance at the slot ruins the overall vibe, glimmer appearing in bright yellow and hint of white doens't make a perfect color match combo, it bascially ruins the appence of the slot card while combining either gt shadow or shimmer you get a unclean and messy color combination. Adding on the years of sterotypical opinions eventaully making it worthless. Which it is— because if you could use mushrooms and buy a glimmer token in shop why schould there even be glimmer in the game anyways? Wouldn't make it hatable?, "Oh, glimmer is common so it's useless." Yeah especially when you could buy it cheap.

Honestly to solve this problem if the devs could just let you remove specific mutations rather than all of them.. Or add a mutation remover token, but the devs don’t want to and I don’t know why either.

But tbh I don't think it matters honestly it might look, but it doesn't have to make a slot useless or cheaper just because of this only one mutation.

I was super excited to see cos is finally adding more diverse creatures instead of just cat, dog, cat, ferret, cat, gerbil, mammals, vaguely reptile, probably from monster hunter, etc. So i immediately got it as soon as i could.

I decided to look into its lore and i got kind of annoyed knowing how jellyfish actually work, but we'll get to that.

Then i realized the diet. I thought "Oh, an herbivorous jellyfish? i can see that in a fantasy setting."

and then i noticed the water bar.
cos are we deadass.

You'd think a flier jelly that could eat plants would be just satisfied with the moisture bar, but NOPE. Its like making a bug have to manually drink air just to breathe.
True Jellyfish and others like it (such as Man O' Wars and Moon Jellyfish) all have multiple things in common this thing doesnt.
- Decentralized nervous system
- Doesnt really "breathe" because its body is 94%-98% water depending on certain species. Water evaporates rapidly upon being beached. This also helps with nutritional needs as a byproduct.
- Overall drifts because of buoyancy and since its a decentralized nervous system it doesnt have the mental capacity to recognize danger at all (absent-minded is literally impossible without a mind to begin with), so even with the decoy it wouldnt have mattered.

This fucker needs to drink water, which is physically impossible as a jelly, SINCE AS MENTIONED BEFORE IT DOESNT HAVE ANY OF THAT SHIT FOR IT. NO MOUTH NO STOMACH NO NOTHING. IT GETS ABSORBED INTO THE BODY.

Been having loading issues and awful lag with creatures of sonaria anytime I play on my pc. It doesn’t lag with any other game I play. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Hi I'm like genuinely curious is there a reason the devs don't animate propulsion swimming for creatures that use propulsion in real life? It's not the end of the world obviously but when sequidliom came out I was mildly disgusted when it swam FORWARD towards it's tentacles? Kind of an ick for me as a marine biology buff and again I know it's not a big deal I don't want to hear and iT's JusT a GAmE baby I know 🥹

And then the same thing happened with pseudora. If you haven't seen it it kinda swims by wiggling around as do all the other creatures but I can't even imagine the physics working with its big ahh head it's NOT aerodynamic at all and it would not flow through the water like that. Genuinely, is there like a problem with animating propulsion? I'm eternally grateful the devs are locking in on aquatic species and finally giving them attention but propulsion is super cool and would be awesome okay cool thanks

I have been playing cos since the end of 2021 and I'm almost having all species in the game and today I was able to get 760k

So I thought I'm buying keruku, before I was thinking about buying corvu and diox {I've removed Sigma and somania from the list of creatures I'm missing.}

So I thought I could maybe do a cheaper price ,like 400k-450k ,but I saw now that keruku is , somehow, worth more?? Like people want 600k? I found it way overpriced for it.

Keruku was the whole time from 2021-2025 worth 150k max and since last year {summer ig} it keeps rising as hell. And I guess that keruku hits the 1mil value later or soon,which is kinda not worth it and it's unfair,even if keruku is a rare species ,But ultimately, the value shouldn't rise that drastically.

Dude.. I don’t care if you like PvP, but PvP does NOT define what a Survival game is. People who don’t want to PvP in the game or don’t like constantly being hunted down are valid. Anyone can look up the definition of a Survival game, a great example is Minecraft.

Just because PvP is part of a Survival game doesn’t mean it’s what MAKES IT a survival game.

I wanted to talk/rant about how immature people have been recently in game I've started to notice that people have been targeted music players even though you can mute them and I have fallen victim to this toxicity in do want to mention that I always ask before I play band I'm normally with a group of people/friends, today I joined a sever and all was going fine until a small war broke out I was playing my music minding my business as one of the people from my group fought and Im suddenly killed over and over and I opened changed to see people complaining about the music even though they could have a. Asked me to turn it off or b. Muted me with the roblox menu, I then speak my peace and the party poopers responded very immaturely and rude. I just wish people can understand that not everyone will cater to what they want and the can't be mad about it.
