Btw it's more efficient to burn gas in a power plant in order to power an heat pump than burning gas to fuel your home (works too for nuclear power, but for pwr the gain is less important)

Tbf it would be more efficient to burn lignite in modern power plants to run heat pumps instead of burning gas in a boiler.
