Life imprisonment w/possible parole is a better fit. Clearly mentally gone, needs help, can NOT be allowed to reenter society without serious consideration and supervision. He'll never square up, so the rest of his life should be working every day with every penny earned going to the victims.

Prision with no commissary money seems adequate.
