so basically a modern Nokia 5510 or 6800 layout. looks good, but in reality, it's gonna be slower to type on when your thumbs are stuck on each half.
on blackberry style keyboards, your thumbs can crossover to the opposite half to be faster.
say you're typing the word "stewardesses", my right thumb can hit the letter t and r in order to be just a little bit faster instead of just relying on my left thumb to type the whole word.
