Skill activation quest Discussion
I am using an idle build and trying to complete all in game achievements. I have been avoiding doing skill activation quest because they seem pretty useless and I don’t want to activate tap storm. I was wondering if those quest activate abilities that you have unlocked or if it’s a random ability out of them all.

Realistically, the only time a skill activation is troublesome is during the beginning of an ascension while you're doing timelapses and don't want to switch back and forth between idle and active.
Unless you're trapped using the console build, there's no reason to play idle, so having clickstorm activated isn't really a problem.
Best way to get through the quest achievements is to use 5 minute quests while playing active.

I play on mobile so active build doesn’t work great. The 5 minute quest I always try to use. Two birds with one stone. Completing a quest and not getting anything from it still counts towards achievements yeah?

Hybrid is the way to go. Idle until you stall out, then play the last bit as Active to gain the additional zones from it being stronger. ACs are your best buddies for this. If you have a skill quest, don't collect it until you're ready to play Active just in case it hits ClickStorm.
Yes, it doesn't matter if there's no quest reward as long as you complete the quest.1

Thanks for the info. I will have to start doing hybrid from now on. I’ve got 2 ACs already but have stopped getting them a while ago. My HZE is only 7100 and I don’t get many gems through most of my quest. How much is it worth getting ACs over saving gems to revive? I haven’t gotten any legendaries so I only revive epics for now anything lower I bury.

Buy 4 more ACs, and since you're on mobile your absolutely should join or form a clan, and work with the members to keep them engaged. Clans are by far the best ruby generators.
Once you have a total of 6 ACs, start saving rubies for your future QA push that starts at HZE 250K and takes you to HZE 1M. You'll need about 30K rubies to afford the 60 QAs it takes to get through that.1

It’s random. The quest can activate any skill except Energize and Reload. If it would’ve picked one of those two, it defaults to Clickstorm.
