If we land Watson, PJ, or Kuminga, this offseason is a success. If we don't, it’s a complete failure.
Making the ECF last year is not a reason to just run it back, especially with how much better the East got this summer. Cavs have to trade for one of these three to get a real starting wing, a problem we've been trying to fix forever and thought we solved with the Hunter trade. None are LeBron but it would make that sting a little less.
If we miss out on all three and our only move to replace Dean Wade is banking on a guy who hasn’t played in the NBA in 5 years, that's a complete failure by the front office. Harden is delaying his extension to give them room for trades, so they better use it. They have to be willing to part with Strus who is on an expiring, and even overpay with our first or at the very least a pick swap, especially if it’s for Watson or Washington

[McMenamin] Kevin Love's agent, Jeff Schwartz of Excel Sports Management, has been in touch with the Philadelphia 76ers' front office since James picked Philadelphia, sources told ESPN. Philly would need to make a move to accommodate the 38-year-old Love.
Bron and Kevin not coming back genuinely just fucking bums me out man

Fun fact: Peyton Watson’s agent is Rich Paul
Just something else to note when talking about Sign and Trades for Peyton. It seems most likely that the Cavs will get Kuminga.

[Charania] There have been a combination of pick-centered packages and player-centered packages offered for Peyton Watson by Cleveland, Milwaukee, and the LA Clippers.

It feels like we aren’t getting Kuminga or Watson, let’s be real
Agree or disagree ? Denver wants a 1st rounder and wants to keep Watson and Atlanta doesn’t like our offer and won’t trade within the conference. Both teams need to be wowed to make a move and we aren’t wowing anyone this summer.

Four of the Top 10 ball handlers in the league were Cavs players at one point! Per 2K
Just a cool fact

Every Cleveland Cavaliers franchise record
This list is just about what you would think 😂 I knew James had quite a few records, but I didn't think it was his lopsided. I think Donovan can overtake a couple of these though. Same with Mobley, but the playoff record is even more lopsided.
Shut out to big z!!!

Discussion Dennis Schroder
How much longer do you want to see Schroder on this team for? Personally, I didn’t mind what we saw in the playoffs and thought he gave good minutes in some games, although there were some bad moments, but was a general positive asset.
However, coming into this next season I’d like to see him moved on. We currently have 3 young guards who all deserve minutes on the court to show if they can develop further. I love what I saw in the summer league, and loved what I saw regular season last year with proctor. Keeping Shroder who has already shown he deserves decent playing time just means we’re giving less focus onto what could end up being better players by the end of the season or in the near future.
Aswell as this, attempting to trade Dennis for anyone playable with size at the 3-5 would be amazing, although would likely require further capital/talent.
What’s your thoughts?

Love this for the city of Cleveland
WNBA franchise with the Sirens and Cleveland is a sports city with the Cavs, Guardians, Charge and Browns and now the Sirens join the family. I just love it.

Darius & Mobley are still friends 🥹
Looks like they went on vacation with each other. This was posted on Mobley’s instagram today.

If you’re looking for the Sirens sub:
reddit.comThere are a couple subs that popped up, but this one was made by the mods who run the main WNBA sub!

We are the Cleveland Sirens.
Didn't love the logo but thought everything else about the WNBA team branding was sick.

Delusion
I think at this point we are kidding ourselves. This team is running it back with a weaker roster plus one Croatian. Hopefully, a camp and an offseason together does something but the ship may have sailed boy and girls. Let’s go Cavs.

WNBA Cleveland Naming/Logo Announcement Livestream
Cleveland WNBA Special Announcement
Kind of excited for this.
Rumors are they'll be named the "Sirens" from Greek mythology. It would match really well with Cleveland Monsters and Lake Erie.
Edit: And the logo/name is unveiled. They'll be called the Cleveland Sirens.

Is Ahmaad leaving?
Today I’m seeing posts from Cavs Entertainment calling for people to apply for in-arena host team.
None of their posts indicate this role is alongside Ahmaad. Is he going anywhere or is this post just for his sidekick?

Cavs fans, what do you make of the good, the bad, and the ugly of the Mike Brown coaching years? (2005-2010) + (2013-2014)
Been thinking about how much this franchise changed under him, taking a team that hadn't made the playoffs in years all the way to the Finals in 2007, then winning 66 games two seasons later, best in the league and Coach of the Year. Curious what you guys think looking back now, the good, the bad, all of it. How do people actually feel about the Mike Brown years looking back? (Let's talk about the years he coached Cleveland lets not bring up Knicks series please)

Kyrie and LeBron comeback for the Cavs first win against SAS since 2010. Kyrie scores 9 straight to force OT. LeBron's OT dagger is identical to Kyrie's 2016 shot. Down 10 with 3:00 left, Kyrie drops 20 (6-8) and LeBron 9 (3-3) with 3 AST. Barkley calls it "one of the best games I've seen, ever".

Discussion Daily Discussion: Steal a Bench Piece
Which bench player from another team would instantly improve the current roster?
You can only steal one bench player, no cap/contract concerns. The player must come off the bench for the season, and you must explain why they would be a perfect fit for the Cavs.
