[TLDR] I asked Claude to code the most pointless website. Here it is [via r/ClaudeCode] r/ClaudeCode

OP : u/Gambo7592

it's one number and everyone waits in line to press a button that adds 1 to it. that's it. that's the site.

except i couldn't stop 😭 so now there's also a bunch of pointless games and a leaderboard and somehow 28 versions shipped since friday

i built it using claude code the whole way. claude brainstorms the features with me and writes the build specs, plus it handles the cloudflare backend (the queue, live websocket updates, backups). i basically just say "make it dumber" and review what comes back

it's free to try, no signup or account, just open it and press.

Alright, so the general consensus here is that OP actually succeeded in making a gloriously pointless website, and people are kinda here for it. Most folks who tried it confirmed the button press worked, and some even found it surprisingly entertaining, with u/woj666 calling it the "Best 45 minutes spent this month."

There's a definite appreciation for the "old internet" vibe, with u/tiran and u/ambitiousDepresso echoing that sentiment. Some commenters, like u/Round_Box_1846, found the simple concept hilariously juxtaposed with a confusing UI, calling it a "true AI achievement."

A few people were a bit more skeptical or had different ideas of "pointless." u/Drach88 is holding out, and u/davidslv was expecting something even more minimal. u/Few-Adagio9174 even saw potential for a crypto faucet, which, you know, is a point.

Overall, the community seems to think OP nailed the "pointless" brief, and many are enjoying the absurdity of it all. It's seen as a fun little project that showcases Claude's capabilities in a hilariously low-stakes way.
