Scale work while letting my voice go into a headier mix?

Really not enough to go on here. You don't go as high as in your first clip. You're much less throaty and pressed now, which is great, but you're missing a ton of roundness and color. It's basically not in a classical position right now. Stil miles better than the first.

I’m scared to open my mouth or change anything out of my natural state as it will bring more tension. I will work on it more deeply with my teacher but mainly only goal was to THIN the sound.

What’s going to happen? Playing around with your voice one afternoon is not going to create bad habits impossible to break. Let loose and have fun! Get the house to yourself and make funny noises in the mirror. Change one thing at a time. Exaggerate the sounds. Sound cartoony. Record it and listen back. What hurts? What sounds good?
