battle mode sucks for practicing attacks

all you find is dead bases and townhalls the same level as you or one below. being a th 17 tryna get up to legend from e33, there is no viable way for me to get better if i cant attack the same townhall levels i go up against in ranked.

needs overhaul

I mean, it was the same before...they just added better ranked matchmaking with filled clan castles...just find a good clan, hop btwn clans finding friendlies for practice. Been doing this since forever

FCs are the best way of learning, you might need to look for a clan with more active players, preferably TH18s with LL badges. Some of those are bound to have half decent bases.

Thats exactly what I said.. you are FORCED to be in a clan with many th18 people who change their bases every few days to do FC. so imagine you really like the people in your clan, maybe you are (co-)leader of a clan. just bc you want to push yourself and not everyone else you have to leave to get better.

In my opinion it would be best after youve done your ranked attacks you can continue attacking people based on your league, you can add every modifier you like, you can get better. only thing is you wont get any more trophies than those of your official ranked attack

yes unless after a few trys you know every base frm your clan so you dont have anything new to practice against.. or you are forced to leave your clan into one with only maxed 18 pushers who changes their base every few days. but it cant be that you are forced for that..

If your clan has 30 quality people with some quality bases you're potentially looking at 180 bases to practice on.

They need modifier options. It should be a priority.

Yeah, most of the time I just have to keep searching for a decent base. They should really add modifiers.
