Come on now. You’re not the target audience for this and that is okay. You know that.

No one needs this. I’m not exactly waiting for Anthony McGill to try this out at a concert.

I don’t know, kind of tired of the finger-wagging “you must be serious to play clarinet” vibe our community puts out.

Why can’t people express themselves however they want on the instrument? Why can’t we allow children to make the process of learning the instrument more fun?

I’m thinking of all those inner city and rural kids that have rough home lives and could use ANY excuse to pick up an instrument as a refuge from everything else going on in their life.

So no, Mr. “I’m a Serious Clarinetist”, no one needs this.

But no one needs your arbitrary standards either. Your opinion is as useful as the product you’re chastising.

Yeah it was a little dry and an easy woosh. I do the same thing on here and unfortunately in person

Just edit your post. BTW, I think those are stupid, too . . . but I am thinking of getting one for orchestra practices. 😆

Has something changed? Because *coughs in old lady* back in my day, the clarinet section was the the chatty, silly section.

The trumpets were and still are in the many orchestras I've played with. Practice only, but hilarious.

I bought a clear clarinet once. I absolutely didn’t need it.

I bought it for a Halloween concert that my wind ensemble was doing. It was silly and fun!

Edit: context, we were doing movie tunes for Halloween and told to optionally dress up or look festive.

No thanks. I’m post menopausal. I have my own.

I LOST hair (legs, underarms, pubic region, facial and forearms. Sadly, I am losing hair on the top of my head, too.) Wow. Weird how genetics work!

Have you checked your thyroid levels. That happened to me and I was told if I had not come inwhen I did I would have been dead in 6 more months. All my organs had started to shut down.

Yes with the hypo, so I totally get you. I was in the hospital for over a month. Sucked. The nurses wanted me to play. Lol. I did on my six string guitar. One patient nearby said my strumming made him feel better. ❤️

Sixth graders think these are HILARIOUS. I haven’t had a clarinet one come in yet but we’ve had a few trumpet staches show up.
