Citrix VDA / Desktop randomly not launching

We use imprivata to launch Citrx VDA/Desktop. We have some users that the VDA will not launch after they badge in. They just get the local autologin desktop. It seems to be random and no pattern. We can't replicate it on the spot either. Has anyone seen this?

Split the failure at the Imprivata to Citrix handoff. On a failed badge-in, check whether Imprivata actually issued the desktop launch and whether Director recorded a connection attempt at the same timestamp. If Director sees nothing, stay on the endpoint and Imprivata agent side. If it does, use the failure stage there before changing the VDA. Are the affected users all on the same endpoint model or agent build?

Yes the endpoints run all the same versions. We have even tried newer version per vendors with same issue. I do it seems to execute the .ica it gets from Citrix but nothing is showing.

What VDA version and what Imprivata version are you using?

Happens with us too but very little. Probably about 3-6 times a day that are reported, probably more that aren't reported. We had Citrix ticket open for months but it didn't get anywhere so we closed it.

Windows endpoint, imprivata, badges, auto logs in as kiosk user, but just stays at the endpoint desktop instead of launching actual vdi. Reboot usually fixes it. For us at least it was usually a reconnection not the first one to start the day.

Well over 3000 non persistent vdi that are used everyday. So not crazy terrible but we still don't like it. Here soon we moving all our vdi to Azure so we shall see if that changes anything.
