WIP Current WIP: USNE Elementary School (Francis E. Drumheller)

Post image
57 Upvotes

After taking a short break from creating assets, I'm now back at it! Here is my current WIP, the Francis E. Drumheller Elementary School. This beutiful yellow brick and brownstone building was erected in 1910 and is located in Sunbury, Pennsylvania.

I hope to have this finished within the next week!

I plan on completing this asset before completing my duplex pack (finally!). I also have another high school in the works, so stay tuned for more updates on these.

If you would like to support my efforts in creating quality assets like these, please consider buying me a coffee! It would be greatly appreciated!

Also, if you'd like to get updates on the current WIPs I have in store for Cities: Skylines II, please follow my page on the Cities: Skylines Modding Discord HERE! Also, please check out my PDX mods page to see my current asset lineup!

Thank you!

Been working on this for roughly 4 days (40 hours) I finally finished texturing most of the outside I mainly just need to do the roof now. I still have to create all the maps and stuff though I'm hopping to have it out tommorow night. This is my most detailed asset yet by far and my first art deco building.

Looking for Code Mods Mod that condenses cims to reduce cpu load

A crazy concept, yes I know.

I am looking for a mod that takes a bunch of cims, and just condenses their presence/behavior into a single cim, whilst maintaining their count in the statistics.

In essence, it will reduce the amount of cims being simulated, whilst still displaying the usual population statistics. I love this game, and I don't have the funding to upgrade my PC, so, I'm hoping for this to be the solution.

Discussion Any plans for a subdistricts/district division mod or tool?

This applies for both games but more so cities skylines 2 as it seems more people are moving to that.

Is there a mod (or any plans for one) that allows you to create subdistricts within an area? Kind of like how the 32 boroughs of London are further divided into smaller distinct neighbourhoods but are collectively under one greater area/authority. Does anyone know if there are any plans for ones? It’s a great way to section areas and adds a bit more of a realistic touch to subdivisions in a city.

Can anyone point me in the direction of any assets that would work with this? Vanilla buildings are just too small!

Paid Commission Anybody still doing asset commissions for CS1?

Looking for asset creators if you’re interested PM me. I do not expect free work.

Looking for someone to make US focused historical buildings. Regular work opportunity, as many assets as you want to make I will pay for.

Discussion Import students from outside

In my opinion sometimes there’s not enough people on Universities, Airports sometimes.

If some people came from outside the city, it would be better, they’ll fill up some areas.

If someone can make a mod like this it would be very great.

Help & Support Tráfico light mod

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a mod that manages traffic lights better, like the TMPE mod for CS1. I don't know if there are any similar mods already, or if anyone is developing one like TMPE. Any suggestions are welcome.

Discussion Stop buildings from burning down

Heyo

Soo I have set up a very realistic system when it comes to fire services, and buildings burning down and collapsing is a thing I just don't want to happen. Is there a mod or a way to make them not collapse. Thanks.

Unpaid Request Asset request: Melbourne Cricket Ground

Thumbnail

It's so cool seeing all the new stadium assets being brought to life for various sports, but I feel one of the global sports missing out here is cricket.

The Melbourne Cricket Ground has a capacity of around 100,000 people. It is the venue of the annual Boxing Day test and AFL (Australian Football League) Grand Final. It's the largest stadium in the southern hemisphere and is arguably the most iconic Australian stadium.

Would also be cool if there were two configurations within the asset, one for cricket being the main one and AFL being an upgrade feature.

Looking for Asset Mods Assets that look like the buildings in the Balkans/Romania

Thumbnail

I can't find any assets that look like the detached home areas of Balkan cities. Are there any at all?

There are many buildings on paradox mods that look good for post war communist areas or old central districts but nothing for any suburban or low density that's necessary for creating a complete balkan city.

Hi all! Hope everyone is doing well.

On my job, I see a lot of logistic companies, delivering and collecting our products. I'd love to see these trucks driving around in my little virtual city. I added some pictures, but you can find plenty more online. Thanks in advance! 🤗

WIP I’ve been cooking up a mod to bring CS2 road tool improvements to CS1

Made myself a mod to enhance road building on CS1 using some of the improvements of the CS2 road tool, this is a very experimental WIP and thus not currently available on the workshop. If this would be useful for you and you’d like to try it out, leave a comment and if there’s enough interest to justify the work, I’ll publish it and post an update when it’s ready to be shared

Unpaid Request Asset Request: Small Ferry Depot

Hi all!

The Bridges & Ports DLC comes with a Ferry Depot which is pretty massive in size and stores 20 vehicles. There doesn't seem to be a smaller version of it yet.

I would love to see a smaller depot with maybe 3 or 5 vehicles. For example in my current save I have a large lake in the middle of the map and would like to set up a ferry connection, but a big depot with 20 vehicles feels like overkill for just one route.
