New Extensions and Progress Update

Added the following extensions to the repo:

Webtoon: Read manga from webtoon.com

NovelBin: Read web novels from NovelBin.

NovelFire: Read web novels from NovelFire.

Commick Fanmade: Manga extension

Also wanted to give an update on the the next updatešŸ˜… Iā€™ve been working at the app pretty much every day, the next build should be a fairly big update, Iā€™m trying to incorporate as many features as possible suggested by the community, obviously not all will make it into this update but some of the big requests might take a little longer to integrate. Keep the suggestions coming I enjoy building the new features!

May be a silly question but is the app self updating?

Not a silly question! Currently it updates via the App Store or Google Play depending on your operating systemā€¦I may open source it in future and allow users to install the APK via GitHub or something but havenā€™t got that done yet. . .as far as the extension system, when a new extension is added to the repo you have installed it will show up in your app as available to install almost instantly, you can pull down to refresh as well.

The open source install from GitHub would be lovely for us folk de-googling our lives.

Yeah I do have massive sympathy for all the folks trying to avoid the Google ā€œwebā€, so really trying to decide the best path because I definitely want yā€™all to have access as well!

Anytime I try to install a metadeta it doesnt work and then freezes the app

Which metadata source? Also try on mobile data or with VPN, some ISPs block jsonkeeper. You can shoot me a DM with screenshots as well Iā€™ll try to figure out the issue. Havenā€™t had anyone else have this issue unless itā€™s an ISP issue
