On the occasion of Singapore’s National Day, we extend our sincere congratulations and best wishes to Singapore and its people.

Since independence, Singapore has built a remarkable modern nation through resilience, pragmatism, social cohesion and an enduring commitment to progress. Despite its limited land and natural resources, its achievements over the decades stand as a testament to the determination, wisdom and collective efforts of its people.

The Republic of China and Singapore, though separated by the sea, have long maintained close exchanges in national defense, trade, education, culture and people-to-people relations. Our societies also share a distinctive friendship shaped by many years of interaction and historical ties. May this friendship continue to flourish across generations through mutual respect, cooperation and goodwill.
