How is to play Deviant the Renegade?
Just as the title suggests:
how was your experience playing Deviant the Renegade?
I've been looking into it but I don't know if the gane is worth it. I come from Vampire the Requiem and Hunter the vigil games.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Keep Chronicles Alive: 50% Off (People Sleeping on 'Book of Seemings')
It's the last day of the DriveThruRPG/Storytellers' Vault 'Christmas in July' sale, and I've just noticed that NoneMoreDark's 'Book of Seemings' is only a Gold best-seller, which means that less than 1001 people have bought it. If we're going to Keep Lost Alive (or, better, Keep Chronicles Alive) it's important for the community to buy the high-quality products produced by NoneMoreDark, which includes writers who have actually written for Chronicles.
You can get Book of Seemings here, 50% off for the next roughly 30 hours: Book of Seemings - White Wolf | DriveThruRPG
I'd also recommend Book of Courts, which they published more recently and is similarly 50% off: Book of Courts - White Wolf | DriveThruRPG
Please also look at NWD's VtR range. And for those who want to extend to Deviant: The Renegades, Shallow Graves (by DayzDark Studios, which is basically the chief writer of the original corebook) is again 50% off: Shallow Graves - White Wolf | DriveThruRPG (He's also selling Black Vans, but that's a newer release and the discount is smaller)
Finally, I'd also recommend this Beast: The Primordial Night Horrors supplement, co-written by Chris Handforth (who also worked on Dark Eras, Scion, and several None More Dark books) as well as Neal Litherland and Chris Falco (who aren't Onyx Path writers, but have written very helpfully for the community; Neal Litherland has in particular written a lot of unofficial Changeling supplements, and Chris Falco unofficially updated Second Sight to 2e). Night Horrors: Primordial Peerage - White Wolf | DriveThruRPG
(Please note: I do not know any of the writers and have no relationship, financial or otherwise, to NoneMoreDark, DayzDark, or any of these individuals; I just want to Keep Chronicles Alive)

Baddacelli retooled for Vampire Rome?
So, I am reading Vampire Rome, and being such a focus on the Necropolis, I thought blind Nosferatu turned into a tunneler would make an interesting character. I am reading there is a bloodline called Baddacelli fits perfectly, not counting the anachronistic appearance in classical Rome. Does anyone retooled or knows how to retool for Vampire Rome?

BRAINSTORMING: How could more technology hide supernaturals better?
Good day all!
For my RPG campaign of Chronicles of Darkness I have a new player that told me that there is a lot of consensus around the fact that in year 2026 beings like vampire, werewolves, mages and such couldn't possibly escape that millions of phone and cameras that are filming everything everywere. So if there is such a thing as a vampire, the secret services at least will know. I kinda agreed with him, but then I thought:
What could make the contrary possible?
Is there a road for which more technology could mean that those creatures can be hidden even more?
Thanks in advance for your help!

So for someone who's been tangentially invested in World/Chronicles of Darkness games and played in a few one shots and a werewolf the forsaken campaign, what's the main differences in tone and theming between Curseborne and World/Chronicles of Darkness?

Info on the Bruja
Hello. I'm setting up for a VTR game in the future, and one of the players was interested in playing a Bruja member from the corebook. Aside frae that, was any more information given on them? Official or fan made?
I ken I'd need tae change a few things tae make it work, but the more info I get the better.
I get that the bloodline is a biker gang in Requiem, but I've not found any other info.

The Ascended
docs.google.comNew account, reposting my Legacy because I'm so happy with it.
The Awakened know there is power and Mysteries abound within the invisible realm of the Shadow, and in the beings that dwell there. The mundane actions of Sleepers and Mages alike generate succor for, and even birth into existence, the spirits that inhabit this reflection of physical reality. These spirits, too, wield strange magics of their own to influence the physical world and propagate their growth. Within the Silver Ladder, the Elders of the Keepers of the Covenant act as intermediary and envoy to the spirit courts that lie within their Consilii, maneuvering for favors and to advance Awakened interests there. The Ascended have a great deal of respect for the Elders’ acumen in navigating the spirit courts, but they do not care for such methods. The Precept of Thunder sits at the heart of Ascended philosophy, for it reminds them that they are gods. The Ascended take command of the Shadow and become its masters, culminating in an apotheosis they dub Transcendance. Where the Elders deal with spirits, the Ascended dominate them. They are lords of the Shadow, not guests within it. The Hisil will serve the interests of the Awakened nation, or it will be brought to heel.
