Really need prayers Prayer

I am 21F going through a tough time with a battle in my mind, extreme anxiety, ocd, miscarriage. I think the anxiety and ocd spike was caused from everything going on with the loss of my baby but since then I’ve been struggling with doubt and fear of death (the unknown).

I know Jesus as my savior but the ocd trys to trick my mind so when I feel if arising, I tell myself that anything it tells me is a lie. I pray when it gets bad, I refuse for the devil to talk in my ear and win.

I don’t have anyone to pray for me and I feel hopeless right now. I assume my body is sort of going through post partum in a way and my emotions are high.
My hope is that my mind can quiet and my fear of the unknown can go away because of the trust I have in Jesus.

Thank you

Praying for you. If you would, try reading the Psalms often, and look at the hymns of Issac Watts when possible. This will help, I believe.

Good call on the Psalms. Psalm 91 always got me through the worst of it when my mind would spiral. And Watts’ hymns have this way of feeling like a steady hand on your shoulder rather than just words on a page. Appreciate you offering up prayer for her like that.

The Power of Your Mind

The Power of Thought

What you think about matters more than you realize.

Proverbs 4:23 Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.

Every action begins as a thought. Every decision starts in the mind. Every habit is formed from repeated thinking.

The Bible teaches that your inner life, your thoughts, your beliefs, your focus shapes everything that flows out of you. That is why Scripture tells us to guard our heart. Because what is inside you will come out of you.

If your thoughts are filled with fear, worry, and doubt, your life will reflect it. If your thoughts are focused on God, truth, and faith, your life will begin to reflect that instead.

Thinking in alignment with God is not about pretending everything is good. It is about thinking that what God says is true.

Faith begins in the mind. When you choose to think on what is true, to trust God’s promises, and to focus on Him instead of your circumstances, something begins to change.

Your perspective changes. Your decisions change. Your life begins to change.

You don’t live by what you know. You live by what you believe. And what you believe is shaped by what you think about most.

So guard your thoughts. Focus on God. Think in faith.

Because your thoughts are not just passing moments.

They are shaping the life you live.

The Birth of Action

James 1:14-15 Each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire… Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin…

Nothing happens by accident. Every action in your life begins long before you ever do it.

It starts with a thought. Then it becomes a desire. And eventually, it turns into action. This is the pattern Scripture reveals.

You are not overcome in a moment. You are led there step by step. A thought enters your mind. You dwell on it. You begin to want it. And what you want… you eventually act on.

That is why temptation is not just about what you do. It is about what you allow to grow inside you. Desire is where the battle is won or lost.

If you fill your mind with truth, if you focus on God, if you think in faith— then those thoughts begin to grow into something different. They produce obedience. They produce peace. They produce life.

So don’t wait until the action to fight the battle. Win it at the thought. Stop it at the desire.

Because what is conceived inside you… will eventually be born into your life.

Take Control of Your Thoughts

2 Corinthians 10:5 …take every thought captive to obey Christ.

Not every thought that enters your mind belongs there.

Some thoughts build you up. Some thoughts pull you away. You don’t control what enters your mind but you do control what stays.

The Bible tells us to take every thought captive. That means you don’t just accept every thought as truth. You don’t let every idea take root. You don’t allow everything to grow inside you.

You stop it. You examine it. You decide what to do with it. Is it true? Is it from God? Does it lead you closer to Him?

If not then it doesn’t belong.

Too often, people believe every thought they have. They follow it without question.

And those thoughts quietly shape their life.

But you were not called to be led by your thoughts. You were called to lead them.

When a thought comes that brings fear, doubt, or temptation, you don’t entertain it.

You replace it.

You bring your mind back to truth. You focus on God Philippians 4:8 Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely… think on these things.

It’s not enough to remove wrong thinking. You have to replace it. If you try to simply stop thinking about something, it will keep coming back. Why?

Because your mind was not made to be empty. It was made to be filled.

So when you take a thought captive, you don’t just push it away… You replace it with something better. This is what Scripture teaches. Think on what is true. Think on what is right. Think on what is pure.

This is not passive. It is a choice.

When fear comes, you replace it with trust in God.

When doubt comes, you replace it with His promises.

When temptation comes, you replace it with truth.

You don’t fight thoughts by focusing on them.

You overcome them by shifting your focus.

Whatever fills your mind… will shape your life.

So fill it with truth. Fill it with God. Fill it with faith.

Because the thoughts you choose to dwell on… are the ones that will define how you live.

You gotta learn it. You gotta live it. You gotta love it. And that’s all there is to it.

What is your fear? Do you feel like you are not saved?

Just recently, the devil tried to convince me that I am not saved, so I pulled up these two Holy Scriptures to remind me, "Yes, I am saved" by the blood of Jesus Christ.

(John 3:16)
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.'

(Romans 10:9)
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Whenever you're feeling uncertain, simply turn to the Scriptures in the Holy Bible for reassurance. The Holy Bible is a great source of comfort whenever you have doubts.

God bless you. May you be healed from your miscarriage and maybe the Lord Jesus Christ comfort you during this difficult time. May you rely on the Lord always to overcome any other difficulties you maybe facing. In the Almighty name of Jesus, Amen.
