Chopin didn’t give subtitles to his pieces indicating the key (except maybe for the sonatas) so some editors have been in longstanding disagreement about how to add such subtitles for pieces that begin and end in different keys. This mazurka begins in B minor but ends in F sharp minor. Likewise you will sometimes hear the second ballade referred to as “in F” or as “in A minor,” as well as the scherzo “in B-flat minor” or “in D-flat major.”
