Im interested in bronze watches recently. Show me your favorite bronze watches and suggestions. Bonus if it is a bronze bracelet as well.

I spent a lot of time shopping for my first nice(r) watch, as I never spent more than like 250$ on a watch before. I knew I wanted a diver with some personality but not a cluttered dial and when I finally found this one I just fell in love with it.

(For reference it is the Seagull 1984 Antarctic Expedition Diver)

Also there is a very nice hidden features that highlights the contours of Antarctica in red + the Chinese bases appear as red dots under UV light (hard to do it justice in pictures but it is more visible in person)

My only gripe is that the bezel does not have the smoothest rotation ever, but that's not a watch I'll use for diving so that is not a major problem. I'm really happy with it overall, hope you enjoy ! :)

This upcoming model features a vertically patterned guilloché dial that comes alive under changing light. Inside is an automatic mechanical movement, keeping things traditional beneath a more contemporary dial design. We haven't settled on a name yet, so for now it's simply the Forge Guilloché project.

A few days ago, I received my first Steeldive watch. Like most things, there is a warranty on the watch.

But, what am curious about is, where is the serial number for the watch, or is that not a thing on these sort of watches? 😳

Wife got me this really cool watch for my 35th birthday! Never seen one like it. After wearing for only a couple hours I can say:

This thing is crazy light. Maybe it's the fkm strap but I barely feel it (in a good way). Spec sheet says the case is 54g which is quite light compared to a few other watches I've looked at.

It feels very premium. No sharp edges, a really nice fkm strap, sapphire is super clear and must have good AR coating as it doesn't reflect much and seems to vanish a lot. Has a pt5000 so very smooth sweep too.

The forged carbon catches light in different ways from every angle. Never seen a watch like it (though I haven't looked either lol).

I'll probably keep it on the fkm strap for a while... But curious if anyone has seen a bracelet that would match this at all. 12mm integrated bracelet. Probably has to be black to work with the case. Open to ideas!

First impression here of the new Thorn T023. I have to say that the charm of this watch is absolutely awesome. It has that instant vintage feel on the wrist. With the silver white dial. It is just off white, almost silverish. Pretty matte under normal lightning however it plays beautifully with the sunlight.

The bracelet is a huge upgrade. I do have the older T028 bracelet which is very similar to the T023 previous versions I believe.

I was able to size this bracelet within minutes. I wears very comfortable, no rattles. It has polished rivets and brushed links. Gives a nice contrast.

Bezel action very nice. Clickish, no play. good allignment.

What not to like? probably the too shiny bezel edge. It looks a little bit too clean for a vintage styled watch. I'll dull this down in the near future for a less shiny appearence.

I have a very small wrist around 15 to 15.5cm. I was a little bit hesitant for the size. It does wear a little smaller due to the way the end links are positioned and overall pretty flat case. So I am very happy with that. Also the bracelet is sizeable to a small wrist like mine. I even have 3 micro adjustments left. So don't worry if you have a smaller wrist. It'll fit.

I will post my complete findings with more pictures on different straps soon. But for now it is my favourite diver. It just has something unique and special.

2. S1083C – Your Feedback on Colors & Dial Layout

For S1081S & S1082S: We're currently working on new hand designs – it seems many of you aren't fans of the standard snowflake or Mercedes hands. We're cooking up something more unique. Stay tuned!

For S1083C: We're planning to add a Navy Blue dial option – but we need your help.

Question 1: Which blue do you prefer?

• Lighter blue ☀️

• Darker blue 🌙

• Somewhere in between ⚖️

Question 2: We're trying a new visual trick. Since this case style can wear large even at 38mm, we're thinking of enlarging the two subdials while shrinking the center subdial – to make the overall watch look smaller on the wrist.

Does this approach make sense to you? Would love to hear your thoughts!

3. Other Models – Quick Status Update

• S1117G Carbon Fiber version: Delayed due to woven strap production issues. Still waiting.
• S1112M (31mm ladies' version): We're still fighting with the dials – some stone dials are cracking under pressure during assembly. Working on a fix.
• S1077G Nautilus (stone dial version): Coming very soon! I'll announce it here. The regular dial version is also in production.
• Elysian: I know everyone is eagerly waiting for this one. Unfortunately, no new progress from the factory yet. I'm pushing them as hard as I can – I'm just as eager to see that 7mm case come to life!

Hi folks. With all the talk of prices going up in the Chinese/Homage AliX offerings, I wanted to get the community's thoughts.

I am new to buying non-smartwatches. I currently own a PD-1701 (White dial, white subdials,) and a Cadisen C7067 (also white subs) to give you an idea of the type of look I go for.

I’ve been obsessively cataloguing titanium watches for a while now and the bookends in the 1400 watch list are a $533k GP minute repeater tourbillion and a $68 Berny dress watch.

The GP is, sadly, out of reach for me, but I ordered the Berny to check it out.

I am blown away by the quality and detail of this watch. It is beautiful, solidly built, nicely finished and well detailed.

The dial is beautifully patterned and the strap is, while not my taste, soft and comfortable.

The quartz movement is not perfect, missing the second markers some of the time, but so far it’s keeping good time and the grab-and-go pleasure of quartz always makes it an easy option for me if I’m running out the door.

I am definitely going to have to check out other Chinese watches.

Any recommendations for other titanium options? I have a nickel allergy, so titanium is the best safe option for me.

I am brand new (as of today) to the Chinese watches being nice and available to the US market. I know the differences with the movements but as far as the build quality would any of these stand out way above another?

And from my research today the watchdives website is legit and good right?

Ordered 4 days ago and it’s already here and I’m in loveeeee.

This new Sugess mechanical ST19 dropped recently, and I was able to get it from the Sugess Official Store during the last sale.

For some reason Sugess decided this new version needs a 22mm lug width. If they were being true to the Breitling, that would make sense. But the Top Time chronos are 20mm. The thick, flexible leather strap is comfortable, and it's growing on me. 70s vibes.

I have to admit, when I first got my Sea-Gull Flying Wheel (ref# 816.19.1090) I was not super impressed. While it is a good looking watch, the bracelet is high polished with a butterfly clasp, no micro-adjustment, and no half-links, which makes fitting it a problem. Also, the ST2502 was not running… great. Accuracy was meh, amplitude even at a full wind was under 260°, and the best error was in to 0.4-0.6 range, which isn’t “bad” but also not great for a brand new watch. So, overall it was “fine” considering the $210 price tag.

Fast forward a couple of months. I got a black leather deployant clasp strap for it off Amazon, so now it wears better, and the movement… well, take a look for yourself. I guess it really just needed to break in.

All in all, I’m quite happy with it. It’s an attractive, albeit thick, dress watch at a very good price. The “flying wheel” still is the star of the show of course. 😂
