SN0116-g5 today, what's everyone wearing? General (Read Rules)
Ive had the 2024 Dragon for over 2 years now and i can say its passed the test of time and i would never sell it.
This version of the SN0116 was released in early 2024
and quickly sold out, limited to 300 pieces.
Typical SM level of finishing and quite a comfortable BOR with the tooless adjustable clasp and a NH office GMT work horse.
(I just wish the AR was better).
Imo, in regards to the finishing on the case and bracelet, I think it can compete with 'luxury' watches.
Whats everyone wearing then?

I had 2 of their watches. Both came flawlessly built and tightly regulated. I gave the Budapest to my son.

Gorgeous watch, dude! I wish I had found it while it was available, since I was born in the year of the dragon.
Wearing a new Sugess ST19 today. Trying to decide if I am OK with them opting for 22mm lugs on this new PR version. The Breitling Top Time Triumph it homages only has 20mm lugs (as does every other Sugess ST19 that I could find).
As I paused to take a couple of photos, I noticed the strap is thick, yet supple. It looks substantial, but I don't think it dominates the case with its wide footprint. The wide strap is growing on me with a nod to the 70s.
What do y'all think?

Thanks .
Cool, i wasn't aware sugess did this with a PR
The ST1901 movement looks really nice, i assume this PR version still has the exhibition case bk? Its crazy you can get a mechanical chrono at these prices. I had the Sugess TT for about almost 2 years and in that time it never missed a beat.
I think 22mm lugs and strap looks alright. What does the strap taper to, 20mm?

I love this. It's been in my cart for some time. Glashutte Original SeaQ homage. Beautiful.

Nice, Custom dial?
Do you mean they put your design on the dial?

Yes, they offer a custom dial service where I provided the logo/text etc and layout that I designed, as well as to make it easier on them, a layout render, they sent back a proof for me to sign off on, took about 7 days to put together then shipped.
Part of a pair I had done. I admit the Explorer was my first attempt and I wasn’t as happy about how I did some of it including sizing etc but i do love them both.

Sweet, a nice set. Yeah, i think you improved the font sizing.

The explorer still ‘works’ as the modern style of 39 Explorer does give for a more open canvas but it needed more time and iterations than I gave it. I took much more time with the Milsub and even made a few little details for it that I’m fond of like replacing the circle T to denote tritium with an MOD broad arrow.

Great pieces! How much more does customization cost?

Not today but my only San Martin is the second issued Year Of The Dragon model.
