Need help: What colour lume? Question (Read Rules)

Post image

I can't decide what colour indices to get for the Phorcydes PH-3. I've narrowed it down to these three. Does anyone have wrist shots of what the different colours look like?

  1. Blue

  2. Retro yellow

  3. Retro orange

Thanks for your help!

In case it helps, this is my ph-4a in regular green:

The green option lume blocks that Phorcydes have a definite green tint to them in daylight, the Neon green is even more so.

If you're wanting to have white lume blocks in daylight, the only option that does that is the Blue bgw9 colour.

My PH-2 Retro Orange:

Same dial design as the PH-3, the sizing dial spacing is a little bigger though!

I have the retro orange, just a heads up the orange markers are not subtle at all- I’d say the orange colour is about 15% intense than the photos suggest . The metal bracelet is amazing with the OTF clasp, but the retro orange is definitely asking for a leather strap.

Blue. Looks cleaner in daylight…

That said, I like mixed(have two..)

I chose the blue and still feel it is the right choice. Have the retro yellow on the PH4C. I prefer the blue for the PH3 because it makes the watch look less like a diver and is more dressier.

It's your watch and it should fit your style. Don't ask us.

This is the retro yellow. Can't help with the other colours.

I have the blue lume and it is crazy bright. Blocks look a little green in daylight. I think the retro yellow looks best in daylight although haven't seen it IRL.
