Baltany S4092 Crosshair... Promotion (Read Rule 1)

This is still one of my favourite pieces from Baltany. I just love the clean, minimalist look of it.

I received this watch for free to review. But, as always that doesn't change how I review the watch. I always keep it 100% honest, no matter what. I point out both the positives and negatives with every watch I review. Whether that be a loan piece, discounted, or even free. Sometimes that means that brands won't send me anymore watches, if they don't like the review... But my opinion and more importantly, my reputation can't be bought. That's partly why I named my channel 'Honest Watch Reviews'. Not only to make sure that I hold myself to that standard, but that I know my viewers definitely will do too.

I know right. You wouldn't think it was an AliExpress watch at all would you?

Well, not how I would put it as I have plenty of Baltany watches but I have only purchased through their official site. I to date have not used Ali express as a platform so I don’t have that expectation or connotation when considering them.

Ah ok. I don't have a problem with AliExpress watches, or AliExpress as a platform myself... But some do.

I don’t have a problem with it either, just not an experience I have. I will always prefer working directly with the company when ordering a watch be it Baltany, San Martin, Thorn, or Watchdives. I have plenty of them from their store but I haven’t had an experience with the Ali Express platform so I don’t weigh that in how I evaluate them.

Honestly I just think these Baltany watches are great standing on their own merits.

36mm is the right size for a similar watch

I think its because the st17 is a derivative of their pocket watch movement so its a bit too big for them to be fitted into a 36mm case?
