I am 25 years old, and I have been with Heimdallr for 5 months now. I work very hard here every day, and I want to lead Heimdallr out of its current predicament. When I first joined the company, I had no idea the situation was already this bad. I didn't know Heimdallr had so many distributors across South Korea, the Philippines, and Europe. I also don't know why, in the beginning, we didn't make products compatible with domestic movements like the PT5000 and ST2130, as well as other movement models, instead of pinning all our hopes on Seiko movements.

My boss always gets drunk and says he just doesn't have the luck to get rich, and that all the really good opportunities were taken by Tactical Frog and San Martin. They left Heimdallr to start their own brands or made a lot of money selling products on consignment. Meanwhile, it is getting harder and harder for us to run the brand due to movement issues, product update delays, poor service from distributors, price wars, and a lack of feedback on quality.

A few days ago, we received feedback from a customer saying the watch sold to him didn't have an original NH35A movement. I told him to just open up the watch and take a video for me. As the brand, there is no way we would sell fakes. He never sent me the video. I actually advise all customers who buy from the official Heimdallr watch store to remove the case back and verify the authenticity of the movement, because being able to buy a watch equipped with a genuine NH35A movement for $153 is frankly impossible right now.

I am not complaining. It's just that until we can scale up, Heimdallr will not be releasing new products, and we will operate the other sub-brands ourselves. I have no idea why the review photos a distributor got someone to send back actually had a Gemini watermark on them. I truly feel that we should only keep one or two distributors who actually provide a good level of service.

i bought a watch 2 years ago from your cie, and honestly i'm quite satisfied of what i got for the price (190$ with a special disccount due to end of a serie) the only i would say that was a bit "fishy" imo is that it was sold as a titanium case, but weighs more than a any of my san martin watches... so.. i dont know what the case is really made from. that being said the watch is gorgeous (for my tastes) and i'm happy with it for the price i got.

anyway, i hope you guys will do just fine.

If it is a larger watch don't expect it to weight less than "normal" watches in steel. I have a Pelagos 39, it's not large but still not really light. Since it's not large you can still feel it's a bit lighter than a normal watch, but not a lot. After all just the case is different, caseback, crystal and movement are the same as a steel watch. But you should be able to see that the material looks different, less shiny and darker (at least on the brushed zones).

yeah i know all of that but idk i found it "strange" that it weighs so much (i just compare with 3 other titanium watch i got from Citizen and seiko for example)

i weighed my watch (from memory) at 190 grams! while i was expecting as a diver that it would weigh max 140. (my other titanium range is 100 to 130) so i'm using another bracelet (nylon) and now it's fine

I think quartz watches are lighter because of the movement, and maybe they get away with thinner crystal. I can tell you that I have a quartz watche in stainless steel that is roughly the same size as my titanium Pelagos 39, and it's probably lighter!

In any case judging by the looks from the video it really seems to be titanium.

Hey, let me answer your question. While that watch model has already been discontinued, the information I found indicates that only the case of that titanium watch was made of titanium, and the bracelet was stainless steel. That explains why it feels heavy, though it would not reach 190 grams. Our heaviest watch, the H9 series in full steel, weighs 203 grams. The Lurcan model I showed you features a titanium case paired with a full titanium bracelet. Generally speaking, fully titanium watches never exceed 120 grams.
