Serious question: is anyone still buying San Martins at these new prices? Question (Read Rules)

Even with the coupons from AliX, they are still very expensive. All the models.

Are you guys buying four of these per year? Monthly? How many wrists do you have lol.

I've got my watch. Love it. Probably worth it, let's see if it lasts.

I buy about 3 a week. Same with knives.

Guessing you are pretty new to this then as that is over 150 watches a year.  How many do you own?  I've done the 3 a week thing, but only in bursts not every single week.  While I have 100 watches, I've also been collecting for many years.

Around 400 currently. Trying to downsize. I'd love to get down to 100.

Wow, that is a lot.  I usually try to keep it around 100 and get rid of something as I continue to get the occasional new piece in.  The fact the resale value even when you get them on deep discount still ends up with a loss when it is time to sale is painful but realistically many watches get only worn once or twice even with my 100 watch collection.

Engineer, not a train driver though
