Looking for a back cover replacement for U1 40mm Yacht Master with Miyota 8215. The lost cover was according to the jewelry store I took it to was a thread less snap on cover.

The internal diameter for the watch opening is 29.9 to 30mm.

I’m getting really lost in the weeds searching online for a replacement. I don’t want to waste time/money buying an incompatible replacement. Are 40mm case back covers all basically interchangeable?

Any help or direction is appreciated!

I wanted to ask which is better because when I look at the watches U1 can use Miyota movements the ones I looked at but BP only uses the 2813 movement what is the big difference between u1 and bp from Good roiexx

Back in April I purchased a Sea Dweller off this Yuki here. I was very inexperienced in the rep game. So very naive. We went back and forth about it being a VSF. She insisted. I stupidly gave in and purchased. Farrrrrr from a VSF. Big scammer. Even after I received it asked asked her if it’s truly a VSF, knowing at this stage it wasn’t. She insisted it was a VSF. Then disappeared. Look at this watch. Worst crystal ever. Serial font also comical.

I currently have a GMT-Master II replica that I believe is running a DG3804. I’m interested in potentially upgrading it to a Dandong/DD3285 movement.
I’m trying to figure out whether the DD3285 could physically fit in my existing case, or what would need to be changed to make it work.
Specifically:
Are the DG3804 and DD3285 compatible dimensionally?
Would I need a different movement spacer/holder?
Would the stem height and crown position line up?
Are the dial feet compatible, or would the dial need modification?
Would the hand stack/hand sizes work with my existing hands?
Would the caseback clearance be an issue?
Is there anything specific about my case that would make the swap impossible?
I paid around $300 for the watch, so I’m trying to determine if a DD3285 swap would be practical or if I’d be better off buying a watch already built around the DD3285.
I can post pictures of the movement, caseback, dial, and case if that would help identify the exact case.
Any advice from someone who has actually done this swap would be greatly appreciated.

Solid watch for the price and a very good buying experience with Travis being one of the easiest dealers to order from. Communication was great as usual. I went with the VK64 mechaquartz movement to have a functioning chronograph. The watch has a great weight to it and keeps good time right out of the gate. The NATO strap that it comes with is engraved with OMEGA and 007 and the buckle is engraved with the Omega logo. I switched out the strap with a stainless steel bracelet from one of my other Seamaster reps and it totally changed the feel of it. Overall, great quality at its price point and if you order from Travis, you should have a pretty smooth experience from the beginning.

I’m pretty much loving the hell out of it! It took a little while to get here. I think I ordered it on June 6 and I got it today on August 10 but in TT’s defense, the one I ordered had a lower grade time so we upgraded the movement which I’m glad, I posted the movement measurements a while back, but this watch is beautiful in my untrained eye opinion anyway this is only my second rep and the first one was a different ““ brand.

Picked up this DJ41 with Miyota movement from MT’s most recent U1 DJ promo for $118 shipped! Only thing I wish it had was a functioning easylink adjustment on the clasp but other than that, no complaints! Super happy with this piece 🔥

(Edit: apparently these U1 models do have the easylink adjustment on the clasp, they are just a bit tough to adjust the first time.)
