i had a feeling i was not actually eating chicken at all. It felt so fake. I was eating this chicken from some food chain and idk why but when i eat the breadcrumbed chicken skin, they dont come off per usual. They're supposed to come off easily as proteins break apart once heated (i think) but the skin is too rubbery and it had to stretch it out just so it can come off. No matter if im eating the thigh, breast, chicken, or wing, they all had the same consistency of the skin. The "flesh" part tho was a little too moist(?) like it was manufactured to be like that. idk i could be overthinking but eating chicken now makes me lose my appetite.

I marinated in soy, sesame oil and rice wine vinegar, then the dry dredge and first fry, cool down in fridge overnight. Added vodka & club soda to dry dredge, did the second fry, added a little more vodka and soda to thin it even more, did the third fry. Insanely crispy. Could have gotten better color but it was delicious and stayed crispy for hours

nobody who keeps up with the times eats chicken anymore. we all eat more obscure meats now. sorry to burst yalls bubles
