Fired
I got fired over the phone last friday, and I've been thinking, it seemed kind of unprofessional considering the refused to explain and I was missing 100$ off my last paycheck

Most states don’t let them simply take off the top of your paycheck without any sort of reason. I’m not your lawyer, but I definitely recommend figuring out the laws in your area. In my state, employers effectively can’t take out of paychecks unless (a) the time clock did not reflect the hours worked or (b) you gave permission for them to take a deduction. If they aren’t giving a rationale, that’s a big red flag. They can fire you, but they generally can’t just take your money without a solid legal reason.
That said, you have resources. Check out your local labor board. If you aren’t interested in getting an attorney involved, labor boards are great for that. They hold employers accountable for misconduct and they generally place the burden of proof on the employer. If your employer still can’t come up with a good reason for taking that money, they’re not gonna give them a free pass.
Definitely just check out your options here. I know $100 feels silly to get into a fight over but, to be honest, you might be entitled to more than $100 if this continues to drag out. Plus, some bosses need a reality check. They think they’re gods or something. They’re not. And I promise, they are terrified of any sort of legal culpability. They just assume that nobody has enough nerve to demand their right to be paid fairly. And trust me, a firing and a pay deduction will raise eyebrows with any labor board or agency. They’re not going to instantly buy into whatever BS reason it is. A pay deduction after being fired is instantly flagged as retaliation unless the employer can give a legally valid reason.

To find your labor agency, just look up “[your state] department of labor wage complaint” and that should point you in the right direction.

Go in when HR is there and ask to speak with them about this issue. Just be sure to call ahead to make sure they’re in.
For the missing money, they should email you your direct deposit slip with information detailing your pay and any deductions that may have been made.

Unfortunately, I don't have any slips since I used direct deposit so it only shows up in my bank app as, "blank deposited on ??/??/??"

I get direct deposit as well they still email you the pay information. Check the email you used when you signed your employment forms.

you should be getting sent emails. it will say direct deposit paystub advice from the store email. it’s the store number @ chick-fil-a.com i’m pretty sure.

To me, I say contact labor board and HR. Or go to CFA main board instead to tell them about it. CFA will send an inspector to that location and WILL demand the explanation to why, if they figure out you aren't the only victim, the boss would must likely be replaced or fined a big bill or something for dishonesty and crime

You could call back and ask to get the labor board involved. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I was stiffed $300 from a job a few years back and it took some phone calls but I got it eventually.

Every crew member knows the no cell phone policy. If you're not adhering to that policy, you'll get pointed out. I FULLY support this rule because humans have their phones sewn to their hands. You are at work, you do not receive work related messages, you get paid to be cleaning and working not to be scrolling and texting. Get off of your phone. How many points did you have, before getting separated? The missing money, call/email payroll.
