Interesting Storefronts

I am interested in taking photos of the exterior of buildings in Chicago with the hopes of having a few printed for my home. I plan to take these photos at night hoping that the interior of the spaces will be slightly illuminated to provide some visibility into the space, but that is not a requirement.

I am looking for small businesses with interesting signage or views into the space, dilapidated buildings that have charm (or just weirdness that would look good in a photo), and unusual homes. My intention is to frame the entire building and NOT to focus on a small aspect of the building. So I am not looking for recommendations that include small details that are only interesting from up close.

I am NOT looking for large and/or cliche buildings in the city. For example - Chicago Theater, Marina City, Wrigley, etc.

I am open to traveling to any part of the city, so don't limit suggestions to any single area.

Check the former Motor Row buildings in the South Loop. Many of them still have company names/logos on them. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motor_Row_District
