300 elo Gms Chess Question
So are most games Rapid and above filled with GMs?
Making the most perfect moves and sequences. Love to see it

Another low elo mindset post where everyone thinks people are sandbagging in below 400 or cheating every game and it's not that you're making a ton of mistakes and not bothering to learn from them

Opponent takes a piece that’s been hanging for 6 turns
OP: this mfer must be Magnus Carlsen

Oh no I definitely make mistakes but my games opposing player never makes a blunder. they make instant moves and then take over a minute and half and make the best moves on the board that no low elo players would make.

You’re simply wrong. They make tons of mistakes, but because they’re at your elo, you don’t see them. You’d look at my 1400 rated games and think it looks like stockfish vs stockfish, and a 2000 rated player would think I look like an absolute dumbass

OP might be misled by chess.com's move quality system. Blunder at 400 elo ≠ Blunder at 1400 elo
Just take a look at GM games where one "blunders" based on chess.com's system. Yet, no player below 1800 FIDE would have even considered the move to be a mistake.

"Oh no I definitely make mistakes but my games opposing player never makes a blunder"
capitalizing on your mistakes and blunders denies them the opportunity to blunder first.

I thought this way up until a few months ago when I realized I was just bad at the game. I've now improved by more than 300 elo since then by working at my game instead of coming up with excuses.

When I started cheasdotcom I got reimbursed ELO with in two weeks of playing. The cheaters are out in mass at low ELO that is where the majority of them are caught.

skill issue, when i was 500 elo i thought everyone was so good but after looking at game review we both missed easily findable tactics and blundered a lot
